A Royal Vampire?!

Chapter 5-Transition and A Family Day

Taylor's POV

I don't know what's happening to me. It feels like I'm being stabbed in my stomach.

"What's happening to me?" I cried

"You're starting your transition. Don't worry. The pain will go away in a few second, but your throat will burn and it will feel dry. Your eyes have changed to red and you're starting to feel the pain, so you're almost done. All you have to do now is drink blood from a human. Chase, get the human and bring it over here" dad said

I heard the door open and close. My dad was right. The pain did go away and my throat did that to burn and feel a little dry. The next you know, I feel my teeth growing and getting sharper by the minute. I was hungry for the one thing I never thought I would get hungry for. That thing was... blood.

The door opened and a sweet smell filled my nose. I tried to go at it, but my dad pushed me back down to the floor.

"Taylor, control yourself" he said

"I can't. I need it. I need it so bad" I hissed

"I know. Just calm down. Chase, bring the human here" dad said

Chase set the human down on its knees in front if me. I could feel my eyes turn dark red as I eyed the human in hunger. The human was begging me not to kill him, but I had no choice. I had to kill him in order to complete my transition.

"Go ahead, Taylor" Chase said

I brought my mouth to the human's neck. Before I bit him neck, I whispered in his ear,"I'm sorry, but I have to"

I sunk my fangs into his neck and started draining the blood out of his whole entire body. I moaned as the delicious, red liquid went down my throat. I finally finished and let the human drop down to the floor lifeless.

"You completed your transition. How do you feel, sweetie?" my mom said/asked

"I feel fine and kind of upset that I had to kill an innocent person, but I'll get use to it since I'm probably have to do this for the rest of my life" I said

I mean the blood tasted great. It's just that I didn't want to kill a person for their blood, but it's over now.

"I know how you feel. I've been through it before me. Well, I'm going to bed" Chase said

"While you're at it, please show Taylor her bedroom" my mom said

Chase nodded his head and we both walked out the door and down the long hallway again. We turned to the right and there was a huge flight of stairs. After walking up 3 flights of stairs, we started walking down another long hallway and stopped at the second on the left.

"Here's your room. If you need anything, my room is just straight across. Goodnight, little sis" he said and kissed my forehead

"Goodnight, big bro" I said and walked into my new room.

The room was nice and pretty. It fitted me just perfectly. I wonder if Chase came here during the weekends and told them what I liked so they would know how to set up my room.

The walls were painted lavender. There was a queen sized bed with black and red bed sheets. On the left of the bed was a night stand table with a mini fridge in it.

The mini fridge had bottles of blood, juice, water, and some food. I can't eat human food for a week because since I just transitioned, the food won't taste right. It will taste like if I ate garbage.

The windows had jet black curtains and since I live in a castle, I can see the whole Vampire World from where I'm standing.

I walked to the dresser on the left wall and looked for something to sleep in. I put on some baggy short shorts and a tank top. I got under the covers and went into a deep sleep.
