Finish Line

The ship is finished. All it needs now is fuel and we're ready to go to earth. I
was now able to get out of this soon to
be diseased planet. Nobody really
knows when it will die, but we know
for sure it's near.

I went out to the black market to get
some anti-matter to fuel up our
majestic piece of ship. It wasn't easy
getting it, or well stealing it. At first I
intended to get it fairly at the auction.
When I went there I was screwed, all the big guns were there, the guy who
destroyed the spaceport, the guy who
runs half the world, and the guy who
has enough money to buy our moon.

I instantly made all of them fall to the
ground, grabbed a crate full of anti
matter then ran the hell out of there.
The bodyguards, who also had the
ability, ran after me. I had one
advantage, I know the weakness of
people like us, our eyes. We can't target people if we can't see them. While running, I went through the most sandy part of town. I runned while kicking backwards, cartoon style. They were all temporarily blinded. I screamed for joy
knowing my plan worked an we were
nearly in take in our homemade space
base, nearly an acre wide.

I realized something, I was running
opposite of our house. I growled then
turned to the other side. I was carefull
in sneaking around as the bodyguards  and reached home.

Ruby and Mike were also extremely
happy as our goals and plans are
nearly put into place, piece by piece.
We then put the fuel into the space ship. Then one of the stupidest things came out of Mike's mouth, we stil had to wait week before the fuel generates
enough charge to power the space ship. The fuel was a 2-in-1 it can charge up all the appliances and gizmos in the ship and be the fuel to help us jump to hyper speed.

We all had a big laugh after mike said
that. If it weren't for our shallow sense of humor, Mike would've been at least injured right about now. It was the first day in about a year we didn't have to do anything but lay around and wait, it was relaxing to know we're finished and had no work left to do.

It was now the day of the launch,
"Good Luck", I whispered to myself.
