I had to make up with Ruby. At this point, she's the only one I got. Apart from that, I made a promise to Mike. I gathered all my courage, wiping away some of the tears and snot left on my face from my previous wailing, as I walked towards her, I saw the way she looked at me, there was nothing but anger. I walked closer but felt her eyes, I didn't need to look, I could still feel it otherwise.
I was a ruler's length away when she punched me harder than Mike did. The other difference now was it didn't knock me out, but instead made me more awake. I tripped backward after the punch, she was not satisfied with one, she continued to hit me seated on top of my abdomen. I couldn't fight back or say, I won't. I knew I deserved this, this was the least I can do for her. She continude to hit me as I felt her punches getting stronger, in exchange I felt water, tears to be exact. She cried, even harder than I did. She cries extremely hard, hard enough to hurt anyone's ears near her, but mine didn't hurt.
I stopped shielding my self and started to console her, I felt all the more guilty seeing her crying. She was srill hitting my arm, but it hits weaker than of a child's. I hugged her tightly letting her cry in my arms. She cried for two hours straight, and it was getting dark. I had no problem with it, even if it lasts for an eternity, as long as she's by my side.
She stopped. She got up packed our bags, gave mine back, and started walking east of our crash site. I asked her what was she doing, and she just kept walking. I did not have the courage to ask her the second time, and just continued to follw her 10 feet away. We walked for days, no talking to each other, making it awkward for the both of us. We ate and drank on breaks, when she suddenly stops from time to time, which was a lot. She ran out of supplies fast, I had to give her some of mine because I saved some, knowing hers would run out. I usually put the supplies on the groung then walked ten feet away, she would walk towards it then take it.
We finally reached our destination, for say, hers. It surprised me we were going here. Out of all places, the place we were going to was the place where hope stood in the heart of a group of people, or what they call it, a crew. It was the headquarters of the head crew of the International Zxen Space Agency. The place where Mike used to work.
