Hey guys sorry it's been so long but I've just been havingn writers block for the past couple of weeks!
Lauren's POV
I wake up the next morning remembering all of yesterday. Once I get ready for work I start to walk down. I go down the stairs so I don't have to catch Camila in the elevator again.
I mean yes I like her not like how a girl should but, I'm not really use to this. I just don't want to get involved. Because the more a person gets involved the more trouble can happen. But the question is, could I just push it aside and forget about it? Or just go along with it? I wish I know, but I don't so I might just have to push it away right now and forget it. I mean, maybe I can trick Camila into thinking Kyle is my boyfriend and I roll with that for about a year and move away and just leave. I mean the worst case is me and her get together so I can avoid that, even though I want it.
I walk into the coffee shop seeing Camila talking to another worker I haven't met yet.
What's that weird feeling I have? It's so strong and it makes me want to punch that girl.
Jealousy.
No, No, No, Lauren stop it she's just talking to somebody. I need to calm down.
Camila turns around,
"Lauren you made it!" Leaving the girl all alone. Like a rejection.
"Well I live right down the street, so I'm pretty sure I can make it in five minutes."
Camila giggles but rolls her eyes being annoyed by me being a smart ellic. I move across the room to get to the back to do some cleaning.
"Hello you must be Lauren, Camila told me about you." The girl shakes my hand.
"Hi Mackenzie, I never knew Camila talked about me much." I say giving a weird glance to her.
"So you somehow already know my name?" She asks kind of freakedout out.
"Sweetheart. you work here so you have a name tag." I chuckle at her innocence.
She starts to blush, "How forgetful I am." Me and her both laugh while Camila barges over.
"Hey Lauren why don't you work the register today. I don't want to be hard on you for the second time only working here." She says kind of harshly.
"Okay..." My voice trails off and me giving a glance at her.
I work the register for about an hour and I've been doing good with prices and everything. The only thing I messed up was how much the cotton candy frappes cost.
Kenzie comes over and whispers something in my ear,
"I know about you and Camila. It's kind of cute."
I squint my eyes at her,
"Nothing is happening, she's just doing this because she likes me. I have a boyfriend." I smile at her.
"Maybe you should tell her, I can see you get annoyed a bit when she gets jealous."
"Yea, but I'll keep it a secret for now. So shhh."
