For some reason you never called me Tom after I got back from filming.

I was always Thomas.

And I asked you why, but you would never tell me.

Well you did,
After I asked you out.

I took you on six dates.

The first one was a picnic.
You were so happy that day, you thought it was so cute how hard I worked for you.

The second was paintball.
You ended up beating me.
You teased me about it for weeks.
But even then, I took three hits for you when someone tried to shoot you.

The third was to the movies.
We saw a romance film.
My plan was to cuddle with you during it, but you ended up crying so much.
I instead comforted you for two hours.

The fourth was when I made you dinner.
You said I was a great cook, even though we both knew it wasn't true.

The fith date was when I took you out for ice cream.
We walked around the beach while eating it and I ended up falling into the water. You laughed for so long, I loved your laugh.

The sixth was when I asked you to be my girlfriend.

When the date first started, I asked you to be my girlfriend but not to answer untill the end of our date.

I wrote you a list of reasons why you should say yes.

It had six reasons.

Reasons why you should say yes;

1) I make you happy

2) I'll try and protect you at all costs, even if it means I'll lose.

3) I'll always be here for you, whether you're upset or happy.

4) We care about each other's feelings.

5) I'm sweet like ice cream, I'll always make you laugh.

6) I'll do everything I can to make you love me.

We drove around town as I revealed answers.
I drove you to places that were important to our relationship.
We spent three hours at the cafe that day just talking.

You ended up saying yes.

Then I asked you, again, why you always call me Thomas.

Your words exactly were,

"Because I love you for the full you, not some short abbreviation of you."

And I cried that day.

It was the first time you ever saw me cry.

You comforted me as I cried, even though they were tears of joy.
