The following week you had started school in London.
We ended up talking every night that week.
I helped you get over your new school anxiety, and you suddenly trusted me with everything.
That Saturday we met up at that same cafe.
Your face was burried in a book, you were studying non-stop.
I sat down across from you and watched as you read. It took five minutes for you to realise I had sat down.
You were so flustered and kept apologizing.
It was adorable.
We ended up talking about the classes you were taking.
I ended up convincing you I was Spider-Man and that I was your hero.
Maybe not the last part, but I would be your hero and we both knew it.
Everyone except me is asleep in the house right now.
Our bedroom is the only room with lights on.
Cameel took three hours to go to sleep.
She said she wanted you to continue the story you never finished.
The story you never finished.
You have so many stories you will never be able to finish.
The story of our love, of our children.
The most important ones.
I knew I'd have to lose you at some point.
I just didn't want it to be now.
I don't know how long I can last without you.
