nineteen.

Although you guys...

JK's pov
... "I'm sorry ahjussi, I don't have any money left." ...

.. 2 man behind him start hitting me. ..

...I crossed the road..

and bam.

I heard ambulance noises and screams.

And everything went black.

[...]

"Uh.. Where... am I? What... happened?"

My eyes won't open and my head's spinning like crazy.

I realized I'm at the hospital. But what happened?

"Car accident, don't you remember?" a high-toned voice answers.

It's a girl next to me.

Knowing my phobia about girls, I gripped my blanket tightly.

She gave me her hand and said,
"You don't have to be scared with me, you know."

She smiled.

I swear, that's the sweetest smile I've seen in my life.

"Jungkook-ah.. Go.. Don't.. forget about me okay?" she said with hoarse voice and bloody hands, while caressing my cheeks. I held her hand and cry in the dark.

She's the one who builds this wall that called a phobia in my mind. Since that accident---no, it's planned. Since that day she was murdered, I've been scared--with girls.

I want to talk to them.

For real, I want to.

But when I talk to them, this mind suddenly played that scenario, when I was back home and she was laying on the floor with a puddle of blood.

"Hey, are you okay? You look so pale. Want some water?"

I said nothing to that girl and turn to the other side of the bed.

And I saw my foot.

Damn, the bandage are a lot more than my age.

I saw a wheel chair near the table. I grab it and use it to look around the hospital.

Without myself knowing, I'm making the girl more intrigued.

[...]

I pushed the wheel chair myself and look for the park.

"Jungkook-ah.."

I push harder.

"Seokjinie-hyung will wait, don't worry."

I push harder.

The girl make a 'stop' sign with her hand in the end of the hallway.

I stop and look at her looking so lost and empty.

"Don't fight. It'll hurt." she said.

Tilting my head, sign of misunderstood.

"I'll make you forget about your phobia."

I'm surprised.

"Lee Jihee."

Reaching her hand out like earlier, but this time I reply it with my hand.

"Make me." I answered,

And we're both smiling.

[...]

"How's the song going?" she asked while approaching me in my seat.

I---we like the park in here.

"Still lacking something.." I answered with my earphones on.

"Why don't you listen to her?" she said while taking one of my earphone off.

I turn my head lazily and found a girl that's performing for the patients.

I look at her guitar, and found a lighter that's written 'Y. K.'

And I saw a sturdy body of a man, watching the girl perform like she's the love and light of his life.

"Yoongi-hyung?"
