"That's strange, I remember my clothes being covered in mud," Jesse said sitting up straight. He looked around noticing he was in some sort of room he was unfamiliar with. The floor had been covered with white carpet and the walls were teal with the print of waves. "Or changing..." the male said getting an uncomfortable feeling in his stomach and feeling something was missing. He looked around and noticed his companion wasn't in the room with him. "Rueben!? Rueben where did you go??". As if that wasn't enough he heads in the direction of one of the windows seeing houses lined along sandy paths, shells sprinkled around the floor, corals, and rocks lining some of the houses, and everything seemed to have a bluish tint to it. That left Jesse with only two logical explanations: The window was rose tainted and this town greatly appreciated the ocean or he was in a town that was completely underwater. "Please let this all just be a lucid nightmare," Jesse said to himself flopping back into the mattress sinking due to the sudden appliance of weight.
The young male laid there for several minutes hoping to wake up and continuously repeating it was all a dream. The sudden creak of the opening door snapped him out of his thoughts. As he looked over he saw a woman who looked like she was in her mid-thirties however as Jesse looked closer he noticed her skin was sand colored scales. She wore a nice white buttoned up shirt with the words "Submari Inn" printed in small letters in the corner of her shirt along with a navy blue skirt. "Who are you?" the confused male said noticing the woman walk into the room. "My name is Ritza and I am one of the workers here in Submari Inn" Ritza explained.
"Hello Ritza, I'm Jesse," he said awkwardly ignoring the young woman's strange features.
"You don't seem familiar, are you new here?" Ritza asked curiously, placing her hand on her chin.
"Yeah, I was exploring Mt. Cabbo with my friend and then suddenly the ground split in two and I woke up here." he explained.
Ritza's warm hearted smile slightly went down at the edges of her mouth when Jesse said he fell down. He seemed like a pretty nice guy but there was only one problem with him being here: He was a human. The young mistress gave Jesse a purple orb the size of his palm. The orb had many shades of purple swirling around each other like small serpents. "What's this for?" he questioned his eyes never leaving the glowing sphere. "Just put it in your pocket, it'll disappear after it has been used," she said her expression switching back to her usual kind smile. Though he still had many questions, enthusiasm got the best of him and Jesse brushed them all off and did as he was directed. His vision faded in and out until finally, he blacked out.
His vision eventually cleared and as he felt beneath him he felt something soft as he looked down he realized he was no longer in that Submari Inn but instead in a bed of roses. He glanced up and found a big opening in the ceiling, on further inspection it was the same opening that was on top of Mt. Cabbo. The walls of that new place were built with lilac bricks, some cracked and old, and a small corridor that lead to who knows where. As Jesse inched closer to the corridor he heard a sound, he started walking in the direction of the sound, then that turned into running, and eventually a sprint when he found out who it was.
At the end of the corridor was another room with purple brick walls and a small patch of grass in the center. Jesse quickly glanced the room and then came across a familiar looking figure. "Rueben!!" he exclaimed hugging the small pig, happy to be reunited with his best friend and companion once more. Rueben leaned his head on Jesse's arms signaling he was also glad to be back. As the two friends started to make their way to the other side of the room a flower rose up from the patch of grass. "Howdy! I'm Rosiel. Rosiel the Rose!"
