The rat was happy. The rat had a friend. The rat had parents. The rat had food.
The rat was born with no intention. A mistake. But he didn't know that. Not yet.
When the rat made his friend, he was happier than before. He had found a rat like him! She was the first he had ever met.
But she had problems that the rat wanted to help with.
He couldn't. He shouldn't. But he tried.
He tried and tried until it became too much for the rat. Now, the rat was sad. Sad and scared for his only friend. But, he took a break for the first time since the rat's friend had the problems.
And that's when she died.
The rat hated himself now. How could he have taken a break!? Why!? He was so selfish. His only friend was gone. The rat was still sad. The rat hurt. The rat ran.
He ran for almost an entire year before he found the bear. The big, mighty, strong bear.
She's the one! She could be his new friend, maybe she could make him happy, too!
So he went to the bear. He was told off. He became sadder. He hurt more. But still he tried to become the bear's friend.
It was simply a misunderstanding!
So he went back and he tried and tried until he succeeded. The bear was his friend. The rat got a little happier.
But the bear had problems, too, though, maybe worse that his first friend.
Luckily, the rat had learned from his mistakes. He tried to help the bear, and, a lot of the time, he succeeded.
But the bear was still sad.
And so was the rat.
But there comes the duck.
And there comes a friend.
But the duck was sad too. So the rat tried to help her, too, along with the bear.
The duck tried to become mates with a snake. The snake was a liar. The snake was bad. The snake was useless.
The rat, the bear, and the duck hurt together. They were always together. And at some times, they were happy together.
It wasn't long after that the tiger came.
The tiger was happy and funny. He made the rat, the bear, and the duck happy. So he stayed.
And the duck became mates with the tiger, even when the duck thought the tiger would go for its own size, like the bear.
But before he knew it, the rat and the bear were mates, too.
They traveled together, all four of the animals. They were happy now. For once! At last they can be happy!
It was this point when the rat's parents started to hate him. They hit him more and made him sad. He was trapped. Now, he couldn't see his mate or his friends as much.
But when they were together, it was nice. It was good.
They were happy.
And then the bear started to lie.
The duck started to find things to hurt about.
The tiger was still okay.
The rat was still sad at home but happy with his friends and mate.
The rat tried to ignore it.
Until the rat's parents made him go mad.
Now, he was tired of the bear's lies, despite them being mates.
Now, he was tired of the duck's consistent pain. It annoyed him too much.
Now, he was even tired of the tiger's jokes.
He didn't want to live anymore.
The rat felt used.
The rat felt dead.
And then the bear payed less attention to the rat.
Then the duck got closer.
The the tiger was sad now, too.
The rat was left behind it the shadows. He stayed back because he was different.
Because he realized what he was.
A rat.
No one wanted a rat around. So he left and he cried.
And then he died.
And then they were all happy.
The rat was forgotten.
