"But mom! Regina whined. "Flash is so bossy, he never lets us have fun!"
"I'm sorry sweetheart, but there is no other option. Your other siblings are too young to handle the responsibilities of taking care of all of you as a family."
"Then why can't I come with you?"
"Maybe someday." Milkyway smiled down to her youngest daughter. "You all will be on your best behaviors for your big brother ok? And Flash, their lives are in your hands now."
"Your kind of scaring me mom."
"I'm sure if your father was here, he'd feel the same."
"Yeah...but, don't worry mom. I promise nothing will go wrong."
"I'm sure it won't." She smiled. Wrapping her arms around her children in a group hug. They all held on to their mother so tight, never wanting to let go.
"And we both know what happened after that. I knew I shouldn't have let go." Flash sighed after telling his girlfriend the horrible truth. At that moment, Twilight chained her arms around his body, holding him tight. A tear shad from her eye. "I'm so sorry." She apologized, snuggling onto his shoulder. "Thank you for telling me."
"I felt like I had to. It's been so stressful lately. With Pauly arguing with me, along with Reggie complaining, and First Base..."
"I know it's hard. But, I'm here for you Flash."
For a short while, the quiet depressing moment lasted up until Pauly came running, then jumped over the couch where Twilight and Flash were sitting. Chasing her younger brother around the living room.
"Base give it back!"
"You need to catch me first!"
"I don't need to do anything! It's mine!" She scoffed as her little brother held her diary, teasing her to come take it from him.
"What now?" Flash interrupted after sighing.
"First Base went in my room again!"
"It's a free country."
"Base, it's one thing to mess up my photo shoot, but it's another thing to take my diary!" She yelled chasing her brother again. He laughed while holding the purple book in his hand.
The couple watched as the two siblings chased each other around the house like Tom and Jerry, but without the cartoon violence.
"Flash, what if they break something?"
"It's fine, it's all day with these two, nothing bad happens."
After seeing Pauly run back to her big brother in frustration she began to yell. "He locked himself in the bathroom!" Flash sighed while he rolled his eyes. Standing up, rushing to the rescue. "Every time." Pauly complained, taking her place next to Twilight, exhausted.
"He always takes your diary?" Twilight asked concerned.
"No, he just always goes into my room and takes my stuff because he thinks it's funny!"
"Boys will be boys."
"At least Flash isn't like that with you."
"Oh you'd be surprised. Dating doesn't make it any different."
"I guess."
After the girls heard a thud come from upstairs. Flash came down the steps with his little brother over his shoulders and Pauly's diary in his other hand. Tossing it over to her, she caught it, holding it to her chest.
"I don't know how you do it big brother."
"It's whatever."
"Can you let me down now?"
"Are you gonna stay out of Pauly's room?"
"Yes!"
"Including Reggie'sand especially mine?"
"Speaking of which, where is Reggie?" Pauly pointed out.
"Up in her room. She wants to be alone."
"Is she hiding again?"
"Seems like it, I don't know why, but it's always when you come over Twilight."
"Did I do something wrong?"
"You can ask her. She'll pull through I'm sure of it."
After Twilight made it up the stairs to Reggie's room, she knocked lightly but when Reggie answered she immediately shut the door in Twilight's face. "Reggina?" Twilight asked, cracking her door open. "Go away!" Denying her request, Twilight invited herself into her room. Closing the door slowly from behind, she sat next to her on her bed.
"Are you deaf or something?"
"Reggina..."
"It's Reggie!" She corrected rather rude.
"Ok, fine, Reggie."
"Why are you even here?"
"I just want to talk."
"You wanna talk?"
"Yeah, it's been a while since I've ever heard from you."
"Makes perfect sense. I don't like you."
"Oh, can I ask why?"
"You took Flash away from me! Now he doesn't even have time for me anymore because he found you!"
"Well...I think it would just be like that with any girl he'd bring home don't you think?"
"Why would you say that? You don't love my brother?"
"OfCourse I do. But I'm not one of those crazy girls who need him twenty-four seven."
"Sounds like you would."
Twilight giggled. "That would be too much. Although Flash is the love of my life, I don't want to take him away from anyone. I know he's like a father to you now. I would never want you to lose that."
"Yeah, he's the best. We even have a game made up where we slap each other when the other one is clueless. It hurts but it's fun."
"Oh, I hope you're winning."
"There's no winning, it's just entertaining."
"Well I'd love to see Flash finally get what's coming to him."
Both girls started to laugh as they talked and shared their fun stories about their life. Getting along just like sisters. Eventually, Reggie came down the stairs. With Twilight following behind, they both made it to the last steps quietly. Approaching Flash slowly, Reggie took her chance at sneaking a slap to his face. Once he noticed, she instantly laughed. Twilight just smiled down at him.
"I see you two have gotten along."
"It took a while, but I guess it was worth the wait."
"So optimistic."
In a Reverse Spider-Man Kiss, Twilight held his face while their lips touched. Surprisingly, she smiled, and snuck a slap upon his face as well while he was distracted. Reggie and Twilight both shared laughter as Flash rubbed his cheek.
"Oh, it's like that is it?"
On his feet, he scooped Twilight bridle style, she squealed while laughing as Reggie and the other siblings joined into pile on Twilight and Flash, eventually pushing them both down on the living room rug and dog piling the couple.
