"First Base I told you to do your homework! I have enough to deal with at work and life!" Flash complained once he came down the stairs, finding his little brother completely distracted and eyes glued to the digital pixels on the tv.

"Busy."

"Base!"

"Just let me finish this game! Oh man, that was close!" He shouted once dodging his vehicle from crashing."

"Base you shouldn't even be playing that."

"Then why do you have it?

Groaning, Flash gave in, finally pulling the plug from the outlet.

"Homework, now." He demanded.

"Look Flash, normally I'd looove to, but I'm stressed."

"Oh really?" Flash responded with an arm fold and sarcastic eyes.

"No seriously I am."

"Okay fine, what is it...this time?" He gave in along with an eye roll, sitting beside his little brother to get a better listen on what he was dealing with.

"I haven't been able to concentrate on anything because..."

"Because what? Enough with the stalling."

"Well, ok look, there's this girl in my class and... she's super cute and all...but I can never talk to her. And whenever she says hi to me, I always blow it!"

"Alright I'll give. Look, if you want her to notice you, you gotta suite her interests."

"Yeah that's the last thing he needs to do." Pauly laughed after coming down the steps. "You're giving him advice, yeah right."

"Um last time I checked, I'm not single."

"Oh yeah? Accidental bump intos don't count."

"Oh, you mean like when your ex showed up?"

"Shut up!"

"You shut up."

"I'd like to see you make me!"

"Oh you would, wouldn't you?!"

"It's called desperation. If First Base should know anything, is to not listen to you." She confirmed while her arms crossed over the other.

"Um guys, I'd hate to crash your party, but what do I do?" First Base interrupted.

"First Base if you want advice about girls you need to hear it from a girl."

"Whatever." Flash rolled his eyes. Lifting himself of the couch cushion and began heading out the front door.

"Where are you going?" Pauly asked her brother before making a complete exit to his car.

"Where do you think?" He asked sarcastically before shutting it with a hint of anger.

"What's his problem?"

"He's just stressed, but right now we need to focus on this girl."

...

"Are you sure this is gonna work?" Base asked as his sister followed him in the halls of Canterlot High.

"You'll never know if you don't try. Now start off by saying hi to her."

"But what if..."

Go!" Pauly whispered louder, carful enough to avoid any attention from apple bloom across from around the corner. First Base gulped as he lifted his gelatin legs across the room, finally arriving near her group circle. Looking back at Pauly for a second opinion, she nodded before he took another deep gulp. Finally tapping Apple Bloom on lightly on the shoulder. "Hey Apple Bloom." He began before nervously scratching the back of his head as he faced away from any direct eye contact. "Um, these are for you." He said shyly, handing Apple Bloom a boquet of flowers.

"Wow uh, thanks. You're First Base right?"

"Yeah, can't miss it."

The other two girls began to giggle as they noticed him showered in complete embarrassment as he tried to talk to Apple Bloom clearly.

"Um, you remember Sweetie Belle and Scootaloo?"

"Yeah, hey girls."

"Hey"

"Hi." they both greeted with a wave.

"So yeah thanks for the flowers. We should hangout sometimes. Do you like go carts?"

"Yeah! I mean...sure that sounds cool."

"Awesome, I'll uh, see you later ok?" She assured while walking away with her friends further down the hall. "See, I told you he was into you!" Sweetie Belle exclaimed from the far as they faded from the distance.

"Yeah see ya." He waved back slowly. Watching as Apple Bloom slipped away from his side. "Ok what are you some kind of wizard?!" Base blurted out to his sister once rushing back over to her in a heartbeat and adrenalin pumping. Pauly laughed with an eyeroll. "Come on." She ordered, placing her arm on his shoulder. "You had enough excitement for today."
