"And pencils down." Ms. Cheeralie announced to her students after they finished up their tests. Struggling to finish, Reggie scribbled the last words down on paper, hoping to achieve the last question.

"Hey!" She shouted after her writing utensil was snatched from her hand. Bending so far, the wood shavings sprinkled to the floor with nothing left but pointed sharp pointed ends on both sides of the tool.

"Oops." The girl stated sarcastically with a smirk. "It was an accident." She smiled evilly.

"Alright class settle down. Now, for some exciting news! Cheeralie clapped her hands together once to gain her classroom's full undivided attention. "This year, the school will be hosting yet another talent show! So, if you are interested, signup sheets are at the front office. Now without any further ado, have a great rest of your day." She finished before all her students rapidly scooted out of their seats, and out the door. Reggie sighed as she gathered her things, swinging her backpack around her back and around both her shoulders.

"Everything ok?"

"Yeah."

"Don't let them get to you." First Base responded, handing his sister her last spiral notebook.

"Thanks, but it's not like I can read her mind. What'd I ever do to her?!"

"Honestly I'm not so sure. It's just best to ignore it."

"Yeah, I guess."

She agreed before following her younger brother out of the classroom and into the hallways. "I thought Canterlot High was supposed to be all about friendship and stuff." She continued while she twisted the combination lock.

"Well remember, Fluttershy dealt with the same thing. Sunset Shimmer had to be redeemed before all that started. So, maybe it's just that one girl and her friends causing all the trouble."

"Right."

"So, are you gonna be in the show?"

"Maybe, but it's not like I'm gonna win."

"Should I get Pinkie Pie out here?"

Reggie began to giggle. "No." She spoke through her little laugh as shut the door to her locker. Then continued to wonder the halls with her brother and new supplies in her hands.

"Don't tell me your pants wetting problem came back." He joked.

"Shut up!"

"Honestly I don't think it's about winning to you. You just can't handle being in front of a large crowed. Remember the Christmas play?"

"Base shut it! I was nine!"

"Oh yeah, and Flash had to be responsible for your spare change of clothes."

"Ok, now I can't tell if you're trying to help me or criticize me."

Ok ok, sorry. But I'm trying to say you can't let all your fears get the best of you."

That same day. Reggie and First Base arrived safe and sound in the comfort of their own home. After the bus drove off, she unlocked the front door, letting herself in, pushing Base back a few feet after her.

"What was that for?" He grunted after feeling the firm touch of her palm hit his lips.

"Ladies first." She teased before making her way inside.

"So I help you out and in return I get a hand to my face?" He argued while shutting the door behind him. Turning the lock to the left.

"Sorry."

"Oh you're so full of it!" He grew with a slight anger beginning to charge at his sister. She screamed as he followed close behind her once she jumped the couch. Sprinting into the kitchen and back into the living room. "Ahh!" She screeched even louder as she flipped some of the furniture, trying to block his path. Not too long before, Flash started making his way down the steps, raising an eyebrow as watched the two go at it. Before they could do any more damage, Flash timed his position right before he caught his energized younger brother in his arm. "Dude stop, that's not working." Flash spoke as First Base tried to squirm his way out of his reach. Finally throwing his brother onto the sofa cousins, Reggie calmed herself while taking a breath, leaning against the wall. "I sware, it's like this every day in this house."

"Yeah, it's like Reggie to be making a big deal out of every little thing!"

"It's not my fault you don't know any manners."

"You want manners? Better check my butt, cause that's where all the crap's coming out."

"Alright stop it." Flash interrupted their feud. "Don't you two have something else you could be doing?"

"You're right. I'm gonna go bother Pauly!"

"No don't...! Well, I tried." He groaned before slapping his raised arms to the side with a slap previous to letting his body relax on the couch.

"Wow you don't look happy." Reggie assumed. Sitting aside her big brother. "Something wrong with you and Fluttershy?"

"No, what makes you think that?!" He jumped, perking up his body from comfort.

"Relax, I was just kidding."

"Yeah yeah, so how was school?"

"Stressful, this girl has been cringing me for about a week now. She so arrogant and selfish. Like she's some bratty little princess and I hate her!"

"Wow."

"I'm sorry. It's just, Diamond Tiara always has to win. She even is going against me in the talent show."

"I thought that was a week ago?"

"No, I lied so you wouldn't talk me into it."

"Well, I'm not that good at persuasion. You know in this situation. But there is someone you could always talk to.

...

"You see, that's why I can't be in the talent show." Reggie informed Fluttershy while she sat beside her. Listening to every word.

"Well it sounds to me like you have stage fright."

"It's that noticeable huh?" Reggie sighed as she let the strength in the palm of her hand carry her head.

"You know to this day; I still struggle with crowds."

"You do? But Flash always tells me he hears you sing all the time?"

"Yes, and seeing him there, knowing he's cheering me on, always makes me feel better about doing what I love."

With a grin, Reggie was quick to summing it all up. Her solution to her problem was finally over. To where so could finally take charge in her passion. Sharing her gratitude, she was quick to squeezing Fluttershy tight with a smile. "Thanks Fluttershy, I can always count on you."
