Isis' POV

Riker and I are walking down the sidewalk hand in hand, skipping the last class.

All I know right now is that we are going to Starbucks, after that I have no idea but Riker does. I'm kind of excited to see what's 'next' after Starbucks, but I'm acting calm and carefree.

Even though Riker said we're friends, he's still a stranger to me and I'm still a stranger to him. I mean, we did only meet yesterday.

Have your parents ever said "stranger danger"? Mine do, but what I hear is "stranger? Adventure!" Without strangers there'd be no relationships.

What I'm trying to say is, I'm not scared of people I don't know, a.k.a the strangers; I'm honestly more afraid of the people I DO know. I never listened to when people told me not to talk to strangers.

Riker's my stranger. Well, not mine... But... Ugh. Never mind.

"What are you thinking about?" Riker asks, yanking me from my thoughts.

I turn my head to look at him and smile. "Will you be my stranger?" I ask with no hesitation.

"Huh? What's that supposed to mean?" He furrows his eyebrows.

"Well, um... Let's see... We're friends right?" I ask he nods his head, looking so confused. "But we are technically strangers because we only met yesterday. I never listen to when people say stranger danger or stuff like that. Because without strangers there'd be no relationships like marriage, friends, dating, then there'd be no purposely made children to become the new strangers that carry the world on. There'd be no us." I explain.

"Us?" He smiles at me.

"Y'know, friends. Us." I say.

"Aha, ok." He looks forward, I do too.

"So... Will you be my stranger?" I look at him again.

"Hmmm..." He makes a funny thinking face and tubs his chin with his left hand. I smile a little. He then smiles then looks at me with his hand on his chin. He drops his hand to his side.

"Well?" I ask anxiously.

"Why not." He says.

"Yes!" I pump my fist into the air playfully.

"But," he continues. I lower my fist and look at him. "But, only if you'll be my stranger too."

"Ok." I say, smiling. He chuckles. "What?" I ask. He shakes his head. "Come on, what?"

"Nothing." He says, but his grin says otherwise. Without letting go of his hand I get I front of him and walk backwards as I face him.

"Are you ticklish?" I ask.

"Yeah... Why?"

I let go if his hand and start tickling him. He falls to the ground on his butt as he laughs. He stops laughing. "Ow, my butt." He whines.

"Your fault for falling." I tease him.

"What?! You made me fall." He says, still on the ground.

"Did I?" I ask. He nods. "I don't think I did." I pretend like I forgot and am trying to remember.

"What?! But you did." He whines.

"How?" I look down at him.

"AWH, I get it now. You're just messing with me." He grins.

"Maybe I am, maybe I'm not." I say.

"That's alright." He stands up and brushes dirt off his butt. "'Cuz I can play back."
