Chapter 10//Goodnight Mikey

Lucy's POV:

It was a long ride home, Michael wouldn't stop complaining about his hunger. But after a while he fell asleep on Ashton. We arrived back at the hotel at 9pm and we were all exhausted.

*yawn*

"I think we should all go to bed, I'm tired." Michael yawned.

"Yeah me too, come on Lucy." Luke said while lifting me up and carrying me up the stairs to the hotel room.

I snuggled into his chest he was wearing his striped jumper, it smelled like man spray and comfort.

Michael opened the door and motioned us to go in first. As we walked through the door, he kissed my forehead. He smiled at me and I smiled back at him.

Luke brought me into my room and put me onto the bed, he pulled the covers back and took off my shoes and helped me into my night clothes. He then lifted the covers over me and tucked me in.

"Goodnight Lucy." He whispered and kissed me on the forehead and gave me a hug.

"Goodnight daddy".

He switched off the light, walks out of the room and closes the door.

I couldn't go to sleep that night I kept on having the same nightmare.

I am running away from darkness,

I turn around and I see a face.

A sad sleep deprived face,

She says "Don't go."

Then it screams,

I start crying I can't stop ,

the image of the face never leaving my mind,

I fall

I can't get up, I'm stuck...

Then I woke up.

It was just a nightmare, I couldn't go back to sleep. I decided I would go into Michael's room. I tip-toed into Michael's room I could hear him snoring. he snored really loudly.

"Michael" I whispered.

"Hmm." he moaned.

"Michael!" I whisper more urgently trying not to wake anybody else up.

"Ummm, oh hi Lucy." he yawned.

"I can't sleep, can I sleep with you?"

"Umm okay."

He pulled back the covers for me to get in.

I crawled into the bed and pulled back the covers.

Michael wrapped his arms around me. He smelled like pizza and he was nice and warm.

"Ummm goodnight Lucy." He whispered while kissing my forehead.

"Goodnight Mikey."
