Prologue: The World as We know it.

(A/N: If you notice, this whole prologue goes a bit something like the first episode of the anime; so I kind of did copy the whole beginning. Just a way to bring the people that have not watched the anime up to speed with what is going on.)

Magic

A product of Fairy-tales was systematized as an actual technology at the dawn of the 21st Century.

Due to the drastic climate cooling that began around the year 2030, the food supply dwindled.

Energy sources were frequently fought over, and in 2045, World War III broke, lasting 20 years.

The population plummeted to 3 billion.

The fact that this conflict didn't escalate into a thermonuclear war was entirely due to the global solidarity (A/N: another world for unity) of the world's magic technicians.

And now.....It's the end of the 21st century.

Under these tenuous circumstances, every nation is competing in the race to develop magicians, competing to be the best, the strongest, and to rule the whole world.

Now, this what is left, after WWIII.

Okinawa - Air Defence Command Room

Shiba Miyuki, a lovely, beautiful girl, captivating whomever that sets their eyes on her. Her arms and legs are slim, slender without looking too unhealthy. She has a curvy body, referred to as a real Yamata Nadeshiko, which in English means, the "personification of an idealized Japanese woman," or "the epitome of pure, feminine beauty. 

Even at the age of 12 years old, many, woman and man alike, have to stop and stare at her. Captured by her beauty, mesmerized by her blue eyes, and brunette hair.

However, her expression right now doesn't help her beauty, many would come running to her, to ask 'What's wrong?' 

Though she was not worried about herself, she was worried about her Onee-sama, her elder sister, her guardian. The only one she harbors feelings for, though they may be forbidden, alas, she does not care.

Shiba Yuuki, a stalwart self-assured young woman in the prime of her teenage years, Yuuki's raison d'être (A/N: That's French for 'reason to be'.) is to be Miyuki's, her baby sister's, guardian. 

Yuuki possesses an athletic and curvy body which measures 175cm tall (5'9"). Furthermore, aside from her deep-set eyes and piercing gaze, her looks are often considered top-class, able to clash against her own little sister.
