Chapter VIII: Enrolment II [Part III]

"Just in case, I'd like to confirm one thing..." Yuuki said.

"What is it?" Mari asked.

"If I understand correctly, whenever a fight breaks out, the Disciplinary Committee has to stop it by force...is that right?" Yuuki asked.

"Well, more or less," Mari said, crossing her arms.

"And that holds true even if magic is being used..." Yuuki asked while closing her eyes.

"Ideally, we'd stop it before they use any magic," Mari thought.

"Excuse me, but...I'm a Course 2 student because of my miserable scores in the practical exam!" Yuuki said.

"That's fine, really," interrupted Y/N's voice. Yuuki's eyes widen and everyone looks to Y/N. "They have Mari to deal with tests of strength," He said, "And I'm only a call away if you need me," he said. Yuuki noticed the emphasis, Y/N was giving her a knowing look.

*BELL RINGS*

"Right, I'd like to continue this after school," Mari said. "Is that all right?" She asked.

Yuuki let out a sigh and said, "Understood..."

She accepted defeat, while Miyuki was happy, a charming smile on her face.

Present Time

~Third Person POV~

The Course 2 students were now in a room, practicing using magic to move a cart back and forth. The faster the cart moves, the higher the magicians magic power.

"Disciplinary Committee?" Mizuki asked from behind Yuuki. Erika was in front of her, while Leo was behind Mizuki.

They were in line to practice their magic. Yuuki having explained the situation to her new friends.

"Yeah, so anyway, I've got to go discuss it with them again after school," Yuuki said as she looked at Mizuki.

"Well, that sounds like a pain in the ass...," Leo said with a frown as his arms were crossed.

Erika was looking back with a frown, her hands on her hips. She turned her head to the front deep in thought.

"Isn't it dangerous, what the Disciplinary Committee does?" Mizuki asked with a hint of worry.

"Jeez...she just does whatever she wants!" Erika said with a frown.

"It's your turn Erika-chan," Yuuki said, as she looked forward.

Erika quickly turned back, "Sorry, sorry! But really, what a load of crap!" She said apologetically.

"Erika-chan?" Mizuki asked.

Erika walked to the interface. She pressed her left palm on the interface, a red glow appeared. A circle of numbers in red color wrapped around her arm.

Erika closed her eyes and took a deep breath, the numbers disappeared, however, the red glow was still there.

She put her right arm straight in front, a purple hexagon appeared below the cart. The cart moved with a relatively fast speed, as it neared the end, another purple magic hexagon appeared, as the cart came to a stop, another hexagon appeared and the cart moved back.

"All right!" Erika said with a smile. She turned around and walked out of the room. Yuuki's eyes followed as Erika walked.

Yuuki moved to the interface with a frown, she pressed her left palm on it. A light blue glow appeared on the interface, Yuuki closed her eyes and took a deep breath.
