I know I've been missing for a while and I apologize. I've been caught with schoolwork and my friend recently introduced me to webtoons and I've been obsessed with it lately. Any who lets get on with the story.
Once I alerted everyone about what had happened during the past 2 years, all I received was regretful and sympathetic expressions. "You don't need to feel sorry for me; it was my entire fault in the first place." I mumbled.
I glanced over at Axel and noticed he was walking towards me in the first place, I knew he was still angry. Once he reached he placed both his hands on my shoulders and said "It's ok now Serena, it wasn't your fault neither was it ours so please don't put all the blame on yourself." My eyes began to water and all I could think of was to hug Axel and that's what I did.
Sooner or later everyone else joined in the hug and the only thing left to say is that I'm relieved. I had all my friends back and this thought send a whirlwind of emotion spin inside me.
"I'm sorry guys, I guess it's time for me to go" my present football team nodded in agreement yet a few couldn't accept the fact that I was leaving the team but now I knew I was making the right decision and this was one I wasn't going to regret. I grabbed my bag and said goodbye to all the good friends I was leaving behind. Someone tapped my back, I noticed it was Jude, "It's time to go Serena, and the coach is waiting." I nodded then quickly said my last goodbyes to the team.
I linked arms with Nathan and the captain and exclaimed "I haven't felt like this in a while!" Everyone surrounding me began laughing and I just giggled like a goof. There's no need to be perfect, I'm happy the way I am.
The team hopped onto the bus, which I gotta admit did look pretty awesome, and I was introduced to Coach Lina. She had a cold aura surrounding her however she wasn't really intimidating.
Apparently we were on our way to Hokkaido since Coach had discovered there were a top striker as well as defender awaiting us there.
To Hokkaido we go!
