Molly, Narcissa, Ron, Malfoy, and Hermione all sat on the sofas in the Weasley's living room, surrounding the coffee table, set with five mugs filled with steaming hot tea.

Malfoy was gripping the Daily prophet on the couch, Hermione next to him, trying to peer over his shoulder to see what the bloody hell had happened.

Ron had tried to sit down on the sofa next to Hermione, but somehow Malfoy had pulled his wand out of his pocket and cast a quick spell at him, causing his to fall back on the floor, far away from the sofa, not too lightly either.

Hermione saw Malfoy smirk in victory out of the corner of her eye and couldn't help but fee her lips twitch slightly in amusement.

Narcissa was quietly talking with Molly about who knows what.

Hermione was terribly happy to see the two getting along after all that the two families had been through.

Ron sat uncomfortably in the arm chair, tapping his leg about five hundred times per minute.

Ron finally couldn't take it anymore, he stood and said, "Would you just bloody read it already!? Or better yet, you can just not read it and all of us can go back to our business!"

"Oh sit down, Ronald," Hermione scowled, lightly elbowing Malfoy, gesturing for him to hand her the Daily Prophet.

Malfoy sighed, "I guess we'd better get this over with."

Malfoy handed Hermione the paper and grimaced as he watched her intelligent eyes scan the paper, her face hardening, her eyebrows furrowed in anger, her bottom lip caught between her teeth, her hair fell into her face as she was bent over to read it, and he urged to tuck the pieces back behind her ear.

Suddenly, Malfoy felt extremely hot and his stomach seemed to spin.

Hermione Granger Proved Unloyal

My fabulous readers! Have I got something for you!?

As you know, earlier this week, we'd caught Draco Malfoy and the Hermione Granger kissing quite passionately in the Leaky Cauldron, which was acting as a night club for the night. The two disappeared quickly after greeting each other, apparating to the Malfoy manor.

The idea that the two would leave so quickly seems to hint at the idea that the two had been meeting before that night. According to past hogwarts students in Granger's year, she couldn't stand Malfoy and the other way around.

So then why was she so willing to apparate with him to his manor?

We were curious, so we seeked out information. We were able to find a sulking Ronald Weasley sitting in the same seat at the Leaky Cauldron that his ex-fiance sat nights before.

We were able to get the real story from him.

"Well, Hermione and I have been engaged for a while now, she just keeps wanted to wait to get married. I never questioned it, just went along with it. But for the past couple weeks she's been working really late. Coming home sometimes at ten o'clock at night. I never thought it was suspicious, because I never thought she'd cheat on me, and Hermione has a passion for information and if she's found something, she doesn't stop until she fully understands it. But thankfully your reporters figured out what was really going on and now I can find someone who loves me for more than just my title."

There you have it, Wizarding world. Hermione Granger cheated on Ronald Weasley with ex-death eater Draco Malfoy.

Until next time,

Reeta Skeeter

Hermione looked up, her vision covered with white. She was eerily calm as she stood, the copy of the Daily Prophet falling from her fingers onto the floor with a light thud. Her eyes were trained on Ron as he cowered on the arm chair, gulping.

Narcissa's face was pinched in anger, along with Molly's. Molly stared at her son in disbelief. Malfoy was on the edge of his seat, waiting for Hermione to respond to what she just read.

Hermione stood still for a second later, before throwing herself at the red haired boy. Ron screamed, his voice reaching several octaves higher than normal, his eyes squeezed shut, arms up in front of his face, his body tensed up, preparing for all the hexes he'll receive from the brown haired girl. Ron shivered as he thought about the time she punched Malfoy in third year.

When he didn't feel anything for several seconds, he cracked open his eyes to see the scene in front of him.

Malfoy had reacted as fast as he could've, which was still pretty fast. His arms wrapped around Hermione's middle, tugging her to his chest as she tried to launch herself at the cowering boy.

Hermione yelled, "Let go of me, Draco!"

"No, Granger. You need to calm down," Malfoy said, setting her back on the sofa, the urge to smile when she called him Draco slowly fading away as he looked at the situation he was in.

"CALM DOWN? Did you hear what he said to Skeeter? He deserves to get beat up!" She stood again, but Malfoy was already there, gently pushing her back onto the sofa.

He stared into her chocolate brown eyes that were narrowed in anger, "Look, beating him up is really not going to help your situation at all. In fact, it will most likely make it even worse."

Hermione scowled at Malfoy for a long time before pushing his off her and crossing her arms over her chest, looking like a stubborn child, "I hate it when you're right."

Narcissa smiled and stood, "Well, it seems we've done all we can to help in this situation. Draco and I should be going, this isn't our business to be intruding, my apologies, "Molly smiled at her and Narcissa turned to Hermione, "Hermione, dear, if you need a place to stay, you're more than welcome to stay at the Manor."

Hermione contemplated what she should do. Staying at the Malfoy's would probably not be the wisest decision she'd ever make, but she needed somewhere to stay and she sure wasn't staying at Ron's apartment, and definitely not at the burrow. She wasn't prepared to stay in an apartment yet, and she definitely was not going to ask Harry and Ginny if she could stay with them, especially since ginny was seven months pregnant.

Hermione bit her lip and nodded, "I think I might have to take you up on that offer, Narcissa."

Narcissa smiled as her son stiffened beside her and said to Hermione, "Well, come on then, we'll stop to grab your things and then we'll be off."

Hermione stood, embracing Molly and casting one more glare at Ron before stepping into the fireplace, her shoulder pressed against Malfoy's solid chest, her eyes widened and her hand shook slightly as she grabbed the floo powder and threw it on the ground shouting, "My apartment!"

They were off, the muffled sounds of Molly's yelling and Ron's protesting cut off by series of brick walls.
