Draco stood in front of the mirror, in a daze. He was wearing a crisp tux, ready to leave for his best friends' wedding, but he couldn't help but imagine what it would've been like to take Hermione along.

"Draco! Hurry up!" Narcissa called up to him.

"Coming!"

Draco jogged down the stairs and smiled at his mother, "You look amazing."

Narcissa rolled her eyes and smacked his shoulder jokingly with her purse, "Oh hush up."

Draco chuckled and held out his arm to her. She took it and rubbed his arm affectionately as they apparated away.

"Hey Mate, how're you feeling?" Draco asked, walking up to him, grinning at the green tint to Blaise's face.

Blaise shook his head, swallowing, "I think pansy might accidentally slap me when I say my vows again."

Draco laughed, "Pansy was quite the character at the rehearsal, yes. We'll just have to hope she won't get nervous and Judo flip you."

Blaise shook his head and stopped, pointing at me and circled me.

"What are you doing, Blaise?"

Blaise stood back in front of me and crossed his arms over his chest, "Where the hell is Granger?"

Draco sighed, "She's not here, Blaise."

Blaise ran over to his relatives and said something to them, then he grabbed my wrist and dragged me down the hall to a wooden door and knocked on it.

"Blaise-"

"Shhh. Shut up."

The door opened and Pansy's face poked out from behind it. Her smile instantly dropped, "Blaise, what the hell did I tell you about snooping and trying to get a peek of me before the wedding? I swear, sometimes-"

Blaise cut her off, "I know, I know. But I had to be the one to tell you. I'm going to be a little late because stupid over here decided to ignore my warning and not bring Granger. We'll get her and then I'll be right back."

Pansy glared at Draco and her face softened when she shifted her gaze to Blaise, "Alright. I'll stall everyone. Hurry up, and don't come back until you find her."

Blaise grinned and pecked her on the forehead, "I love you."

Pansy rolled her eyes but smiled, "You'd better. I'm not wearing this uncomfortable dress for fun."

Blaise grinned and grabbed his wrist again and pulled him towards the door. Draco yanked his arm free, "Blaise! Mate! What are you doing? You're getting married in thirty minutes!"

Blaise nodded," So then we'd better hurry up. I don't care if I marry her in a broom closet, I just wanna marry her. And my best mate is not sitting through my wedding with that depressed look on your face thinking about Granger!"

Draco sighed, "Even if I wanted to get her, she left my house, Blaise. She went back to live with her parents all the sudden. I don't know why."

Blaise shook his head, "I'm sure I could guilt her into coming."

Draco glared at him, "You're making me feel loads better by the way."

Blaise grinned, "Great!"

"Zabini," a voice called from down the hall.

Narcissa emerged from the hall and gestured for him to come over by her.

Draco scowled and stood right where he was, he wasn't in the mood to hear his mother convince him not to go looking for a mudblood that she hated.

Blaise came up behind him and took his arm, apparating away without a word.

Draco looked around, utterly confused, "Blaise, I know for a fact that this is not her parents' house."

Draco and Blaise stood in front of a muggle store front as cars zoomed past. Draco frowned immediately and remembered what Hermione had told him about cars.

Hermione.

He sighed and turned to Blaise, "Blaise-"

Blaise put a finger to his lips and pointed at the door to a store," In."

Draco squinted up at the store sign and looked back at Blaise, "You're kidding, right?"

Blaise shrugged, "Get in."

Draco shook his head, "It's a baby store. There is no reason for me to go in there."

Blaise looked completely serious, which was the thing that really scared Draco, "Do you really want me to miss my wedding? In. Now."

Draco shook his head but knew that he shouldn't argue anymore.

Draco went into the store and immediately got a weird look from the girl working there. Draco resisted the urge to yell at her and he walked down the aisles of the store.

When he rounded the corner into the second aisle, his heart leapt and he couldn't breathe.
