Nathan placed his phone in his pocket. They were not boarding now, but he couldn't continue the conversation knowing someone he had stupidly gotten a crush on liked someone else.

He ran a hand through his hair as he sat in the terminal, the buzz of the people around him drowning out into a dull murmur as he thought about how utterly stupid he felt. He couldn't stop thinking about her. Every time she called him a sweet name or sent him a random message he felt his heartbeat accelerate and his face flush, and now she likes someone else.

"Dammit Nathan," He scolded himself mentally, "Now what are you gonna do?" He ran another hand through his hair. There was only one thing he could do - avoid her. He stuck his hand in his pocket and grabbed his phone. He unlocked it, going to her contact and hesitated before pressing the button.
