Alex's POV
——————-

After hanging out at Sadie's with everyone, Noah, Sara, and I headed back to our hotel. We quickly got ready for bed and fell asleep.
The next morning, I woke up to my alarm set for 6:30. I climbed down from my top bunk and shook Noah. "Noah," I whispered.
      "What?" He asked tiredly.
"It's time to get up." He nodded and yawned. "Is my mom up yet?" He asked.
"She went down to the buffet in the lobby I think. Do you wanna get breakfast there or at the bagel place by Starbucks?"
"Bagel place," Noah responded getting up. "I'll be ready in like 10 minutes."
I got changed and did my hair and makeup in the bathroom while Noah got changed in our room. I heard my phone buzz and I picked it up to see a text from my Aunt: "I'll be up in 5 minutes. I'm sure you're ready to go, but please make sure Noah is." I chuckled and opened the bathroom door.
"You decent?" I asked from around the corner.
"Yep," Noah answered. I walked into our room and he was sitting on his bed combing his hair.
"Your moms coming upstairs in 5 minutes," I told him. He nodded silently. "Man you're a mess."
"Whatever, there are people there who touch up our hair and makeup and stuff before the thing starts," he sighed. Noah is not a morning person. Ask anyone. I extended my hand and he grabbed it so I could pull him up.
A few minutes later, his mom came up to drive us to get breakfast. We walked into the elevator, through the hotel lobby, and into the car we rented. It was smaller than the car Noah's family usually had because there are only three of us. Noah and I both sat in the back and my Aunt drove us to the bagel store.
"I'll wait in the car," she told us as we got out. We walked into the bagel store and the door slowly closed behind us. There was only one other person there: an old man with a blue beanie. He was eating a bagel at a table by the door. We were safe from fans for now.
Noah and I agreed on splitting up the work. He'd get Starbucks and I'd get bagels. I bought 2 plain bagels and walked outside. A minute passed, then another, then another, then another. But still no Noah. I nervously walked to the Starbucks where Noah was getting our drinks and pushed the door open. There I saw the cause of the delay. Noah was surrounded by a group of teenage girls. Suddenly, one of them turned to me.
"Oh my god! Alex!" She exclaimed. The girls gasped and came to me.
"Hi!" I said. "I'm so sorry, but we have to go get ready for comic con."
"Oh ok," a girl said sadly. "But can we just take one group picture?" I looked at Noah and we both nodded. A girl held out her phone and took a selfie.
"Thank you guys so much!" She gushed. We waved and walked outside.
"Chick magnet," I teased. He shrugged and smiled.
"What can I say?" He handed me my strawberry açaí refresher and I handed him a plain bagel as we got into the car.
"You guys ready?" My Aunt asked. We both nodded as she drove to LACC.

Sara's POV
——————-

"What the heck?" Emily asked as she tried to start our rental car.
"No you need to push that!" I told her.
"I am!" She argued. Our rental car was much more high-tech than our NYC car. We barely even use our car at home because of all the taxis and cabs and Ubers.
"Em, just push that down, you're pressing the music controls!" I sighed.
"What?" She asked. She did what I said and that car came to life. "Oh." She pulled out of the hotel parking lot and began driving the way her phones GPS app told her. I couldn't wait to get there and see everyone again. Suddenly, my phone lit up. It was a text from Finn.

Finn💞😂❤️

I responded quickly.

I put my phone down and smiled out the window.
"Who you texting?" Em asked smirking.
"Noah," I responded a little too fast than I should have. She nodded.
"How's Finn doing?" She asked obviously knowing.
"He's great," I said dully. Emily snickered and continued driving.
"He's a great guy," she said. "I like him."
"Thanks," I replied. "I like him too."
