A trait and his son sit in the forest. The sons crumpled form lays across the broken trait.

With no warning something burst the forest. He runs to us frantically. Instead of it being Prince or Logan like I had thought, it was
Anger. The reason we're in this mess, the reason my son is laying with a knife protruding from his stomach. Rage filled my body at the sight of him. He quickly kneels next to us assessing the situation.
Then he grabs Virgil from my arms and hugs him close to his chest. Rocking back and forth, he sobs into Virgil and mumbling incomprehensible.

"Im sorry. I'm so sorry. This was my fault. It was supposed to be different." He whispers to Anx. A hoodie clad arm reaches up and wraps around Andy. He looks down to see Anx barely awake. The anxious side moves his arm from the shoulders and pulls Andy's face down, whispering something into his ear. Andy looks up astonished and begins sobbing harder.

"H-hey Pat?" I look at him a freakish what he wants. I grab him back from Andy and hold him carefully. "Where's Logan and Ro?"

"They'll be here soon. Rest now. Logan will know what to do when he gets here." Virge hummed in reply. I noticed his eyelids start to drift shut. "Virgil!" His eyes snapped back open. "You have to stay awake ok? Can you do that for me?" He nodded slightly.

"Hey Dad? I love you." At that moment the tears escaped my eyes and a sob escaped my chest. I knew this was a goodbye and I couldn't handle it.

"I l-love you too kiddo." I choked out.

In the distance I heard foot steps running towards us. Logan and Roman ran into the clearing, taking in the scene.

"Ro," Virge breathed out, a smile appearing. Roman walked forward mind still in shock. He crouched beside Virge. Struggling, Virgil raised his hand around Roman's neck and pulled him forward into a kiss. It was short but sweet. Like the rest of us Roman was engulfed by his own tears.

"Thank you guys for every thing." He stated, eyes drifting closed and breath slowing to a stop. His body began to disappear into a cloud of purple smoke.

Hysteria broke out. Not even Logan could contain his tears. And when we had cried all the tears we had we got up and trudged our way back to the entrance of the forest, feeling numb.
