chapter summary ; eddie and bill talk.

"well, nice job you fucking idiots. jason broke up with me." bill came into stan's apartment where stan, richie, ben, bev, and mike were all sitting.
"sorry bill." ben pouted.
"well maybe you wanna date someone else?" richie winked.
"if you're talking about you-"
"no! eddie. my man eddie. he loves you dude."
"what?"
stan hit richie.
"umm nothing."
...
"eddie?" it was late at night now. bill knew that stan was out and eddie was at his apartment alone.
"eddieeee." he knocked on the door again.
eventually eddie came to the door. he was wearing sweatpants and a shirt that was much too big for him.
"oh, hey bill. what's up?" he smiled (genuinely.)
"can i come in?"
"uhh sure."
bill walked into the apartment and looked around like he had never been there before. eddie closed the door.
"what's up?"
"do you... um.. you love me?"
"wha-what?! who told you that!" eddie turned bright red.
"richie." bill smiled nervously.
"of course he did." eddie shook his head.
they both stood there. bill rubbed his neck and looked around.
"so are you still with jason?"
"uh, no. he broke up with me because i couldn't make our date."
eddie nodded.
now let's get something clear. eddie is short. eddie is short, but not that short. he's in the middle. but bill is pretty damn tall.
"bill?"
"yeah eds?"
eddie got on his tip toes (and bill leaned down slightly) and he slowly leaned in to kiss bill. it was a short kiss, but it was still nice. it took bill by surprise, and he stood there, stunned.
