The man behind the front desk did not even bat an eye when she entered the run-down place. The lights were flickering at the slightest, ready to give out anytime and the wallpaper that covered the sides of the small foyer had several tears and scratches on it. She wouldn't want to know how.
With one look, it was definitely a motel. After all, people usually come here to screw each other so the only important places were the rooms. In her case, the rooms held just the same value like how it would be for a frequent customer.
The place, including the bored-looking greeter, looked very suspicious. Yet she would disregard all of that just to find out the truth. This place was mentioned in the report of Lucifer inside the May Operation 2010 file.
What really made her wonder is why would a small mission even kill his father that certainly accomplished ones that are easier. He was the agency's top Scout for crying out loud.
Lots of unthinkable possibilities entered her mind as she approached the man that was probably checking if his burger have the right ingredients in it with his headphones blasting heavy metal on his ears.
