"I'm not going to say that I will take a bullet for you because that's too cliche," he said while gazing deeply in her eyes, "Instead, I'm going to put a bullet through the heads of anyone who attempts to kill you."...

Seokjin peeked through the side mirror of his car when he saw a man turning a corner, the person's small hand holding a leash which was connected to the neck of a Welsh Corgi. The little dog's fluffy body bounced up and down as it ran towards a bird that was minding its own business in the middle of the sidewalk.
Seokjin witnessed the warm smile of the man, dimples appearing beside his mouth and his eyes somewhat gone. The man's crooked teeth revealed itself to him after his smile disappeared which was followed by a loud scolding.
"Chico, no!" he shouted, his small voice being the only outstanding sound in the quiet street. He looked content and peaceful, as if he was living the life he imagined. The man ran for his dog and scooped the little being up in his arms, giggling a little when the corgi's tongue licked his face.
Now having the pet in control, he walked towards his house that was surrounded by a white picket fence. The house looked very welcoming and suitable enough for a family to live. Sadly, he only lived by himself and his dog.
Seokjin got out of the car, a mask on his face and a cap on his head, and approached the person, "Jimin," he called out.
Said man turned around, dog still in his arms. The dog barked excitedly at the new human being that he seemed to be familiar of already. Jimin lowered the dog to the ground, allowing it to run to Seokjin's embrace.
"Hyung? What brought you here?" he tilted his head, gesturing for him to walk inside the house but the elder refused with a shake of his head.
"Nothing. Just wanted to check on you. How's life?"
"Couldn't be more happy with it," Jimin softly mused. All that Seokjin could do right now was to look at him in pity yet at the same time, be proud of him. Out of everyone, he believed that Jimin was probably living his best life.
He got the wish of fulfilling his dream to live in a peaceful small town in Seoul and run a restaurant of his own. Jimin had everything he wanted in his life. But all of this would have been impossible if the younger boy fully recovered his memories.
Seokjin could still remember himself nearly crying when Jimin woke up after almost a year-long comma, claiming that he didn't remember anything. He immediately ran for the doctor who found it peculiar that the man did not suffer through any major head injuries.
They even had to perform a CT Scan just to make sure that everything was alright with him. However, one of the doctors claimed that it might not be physical trauma that caused his memory loss but instead emotional trauma.
