Our little sister // 1D and 5SOS

Chapter 27

      The annoying sound of my alarm clock booms through my room and I groggily tried to turn it off. After a few minutes of annoying beeping sound, I finally manage to turn my alarm clock off. I sit up and rub my eyes. I yawn as I stretch my mucles out. The past week, we did nothing but plan for the arrival of today and tomorrow. As you remember, today is the School and Sports festival and tomorrow is the school dance. I worked out the details with Cole for the dance tomorrow. Elianna will come to my house tomorrow as we both will get dressed. Like every year, we do each others light make-up and hair.

      I roll out of bed and when I say roll, I mean roll. After, I quickly stand up and walk towards the bathroom. I undress out of my PJs and into the shower. As I am humming Wild Heart by The Vamps, I am also massaging my scalp. After a good 20 minute shower, I got out and got my towel. I wipe my body then my hair. After, I wrap the towel around my body and head into my cold room. I go to my drawers and got my underwear.  I place my undergarments on and start looking through my closet and look for my P.E uniform. I finally found it and place it in my duffel bag. We all need to play sports today and I chose volleyball with Elianna.

      I got out my outfit of the day which consist of; my blue jeggings (you know, leggings that look like jeans), my blue sweatshirt with little pink hearts on it, and my blue converse. Will you look at that, I'm all blue. I wear it all and start doing my hair. I look at my mirror to see my face. I look at my eyes and realize how blue they actually are. I start braiding my hair into a reverse French braid. A few minutes have passed and I am finished with my braid. I got my duffel bag and head downstairs. Two weeks have passed and I finally got rid of using crutches. Anyway, I went into the living room and place my bag down. I head into the kitchen to see a very sleepy Arisa and a cooking Mike.

      "Good morning, kiddo" Mike states "I like your hair today"

      "Thank you" I smile.

      "Here's your breakfast" Mike says placing a plate of eggs and bacon in front of me. I smile at him ad mutter a small thank you. I start devouring my food and after a few minutes, I finished.

      "See you after school" I yell as I go inside the livingroom get my duffel bag and skateboard.

      Smiling, Mike yells back, "Be careful! And I love you!"

      "Love you, too" and with that I'm out the door and went skating off to school. I arrive within minutes and kick my board up to catch it with my hand. I place my skateboard in my bag and head into the building. I saw Brad and I flinch. He locks eye contact with me and smirks. Fuck. I start walking to where we (homeroom classmates) all have to meet. I head inside the classroom to see everyone in their P.E. uniform except Elianna. Elianna waves at me and I head over to her.

      "Let's change?" I ask.

      "Yeah, sure" She replies. She gets her duffel bag and we head to the girls gym lockers. I got my P.E. uniform out and undress my jeggings and sweatshirt and into my jogging pants and t-shirt. Elianna did the same and we are talking as we do so. I place my jeggings and sweatshirt in my duffel bag and sling it over my shoulder.

      "Are you done Elianna?" I ask.

      "Yeah, hang on a sec." She replies. A few minutes later, she walks towards me and I smile.

      "Want me to tie your hair?" I ask and she nods. Apparently, she is having trouble in tying her hair. She sits down in front of me and I start combing her hair. She told me to leave her bangs out and I did as I was told. After, I tell her I'm done and she mutters a small thank you. We both head out of the gym lockers with our duffel bags in hand. We head towards are locker and place the duffel bag inside. It's a huge locker, so, it can fit. Luckily, mine and Elianna's locker are just beside each other. We walk back to homeroom and on the way, someone made me trip. I was preparing myself for the impact, but it never happened. Instead, I feel two arms wrap around me, preventing me from my fall. I look up to see... Cole. He looks down at me with that heartwarming smile.

      "Hey" He says.

      "H-hi" I stutter.

      "You okay?" He asks and I nod. I look around to see who tripped me and I saw Brad, with his jaw clenching. Cole looks at the person I was looking at and his jaw clenched. Okay.. am I missing something? Cole let me stand on my feet and I thank him. He nods his head.

      "I really should... ummm.... go" I stammer and he chuckles.

      "Yeah. I should go too" He says "I'll see you tomorrow, yeah?"

      "Yeah" and with that, we both went our separate ways. I went to talk with Elianna and she looks like she's happy about what just happened. I mean, I'm happy. She was blabbering about how he looked at me and says that he likes me, but I seriously doubt it. As we are walking through the halls, people keep on giving me dirty looks. Mostly girls. I guess they saw my fall and Cole catching me. We enter homeroom and everyone is there chatting with their friends. Everyone seems oblivious of my presence, not that I care. Elianna and I head to our seats and talk along the way. Mitch and Irvine soon joins our conversation until our homeroom teacher comes in.

      "So, today we're gonna be having sports and some of your classmates will be handling the cafés and other stuff.." and blah blah blah. As I try paying attention, I feel someone staring at me... more like glaring. I turn around to see... Brad. Just my luck.
