Chapter 31

April 25; 10:54 am.

-Elisa-

      I wake up at 10 o'clock in the morning. Thank the Lord there are no classes in the morning because the teachers thought that we need more time to 'prepare' for the dance. I mean, sheesh, it's just a dance, but apparently, every normal teenage girls would probably need more time. As for Elianna and I, we don't really need a lot of time like other girls. We just like it simple and nice. We're not like other girls who have to go the salon to get their hair and nails done. All Elianna and I need is just, our make up and hair. I'm pretty good at both. Anyways, it's currently 10:54 am and I just woke up. I smell fresh pancakes and I literally close my eyes and follow the smell. But, of course, I open them when I'm at the stairs. I mean, common sense people.

      "Hey El" my brother says as I enter the kitchen.

      I give him a soft smile and kiss Arisa on the head and say, "Good morning my dear brother and sister."

      "Morning El" Arisa says sleepily and I laugh. I ruffle her hair and she pouts, "Now my hair is messy."

      I sit down beside her and my brother gives me three stacks of pancakes on my plate. I got my phone out to see that Elianna messaged me.

      It read:

      To: Elisa

      From: Elianna banana

      Hey E. Hahah get it. E. No? Okay. Oh wil you look at that, I'm going crazy.... May I come over at around 1? Maybe 12? Because I am freaking out. I need to satisfy this date of mine. Hahaha. Just kidding. But I really need to come over. If that's okay of course.

      I laugh and reply;

      Hey. Yeah. You can come over a little early. I'll get the things we need prepared and you should bring the other things too. Imma eat breakfast first. Baboooo!!

      Then I hear my phone ding and she replies:

      Great! Alright then, see you at one hour.

      -Yana

      I smile to myself and then say, "Please pass me the syrup."

      Arisa obliges and give it to me. I mutter a small 'thank you' and place some syrup on my pancakes. If only there was bacon. I sigh.

      "Here ya' go kid" Mike says and gives me 4 strips on bacon. My eyes widen and I smile.

      "You know me too well" I say and he laughs.

      "Yes, yes I do" he says,  still laughing and I soon join him. I smile at them and devour my meal within 2-5 minutes.

      "You're a freaking eating monster" my brother says, his mouth slightly agape and I laugh.

      "Well, I love food. And if I have a chance to marry food, then I most certainly would" I tell him and he laughs. I excuse myself and head up to my room. I enter, and head towards the bathroom. I brush my teeth and after doing so, I spit it out. I enter my room into the cold and dull room but I love it anyways. I think I should paint it.. hmmmm.... I head to my bed and plop down. I get my phone from the stand and turn it on. I enter the passcode and texted my friends. I text my long-time-no-talk friend, Kirsten, and honestly I got to say, I miss her. We had an argument last school year and it didn't end well. I got to say, I really am sorry for what I did. And that's something I won't tell. It's classified. But anyways, as I was about to send the text, the doorbell dings indicating that Elianna arrived earlier than planned. I guess I would be too if my date was James Mcvey (AN: oh will ya look at that. James Mcvey from 'The Vamps'). I smile to myself knowing that she has a crush on him since forever.
