Hali-

The day is the third of March. Another patient disappeared today. I heard it was one of the ones that looked like a kidnapping rather than a moving. Things tumbled everywhere. Truth be told...I'm actually kind of scared. Whatever this thing is, it's relentless. I just hope I survive long enough...to kill it of course.

I heard we're getting a new patient today. Patient #314, meaning he'll be in the room next to me. In the C ward. There are three different wards in our 'Hospital'. A ward contains mostly green banded patients, the ones who are easy to handle. B ward handles mostly yellow bands, the ones who need more help, and are a possible hazard. I went there once, but they get utensils, and I tried to kill a nurse...Finally, there is the C ward. The hazard ward. The ones kept behind three locked doors. The insane ones. Straightjackets, handcuffs, padded rooms. Thats where I am.

Over the years, I've grown to hate this place. I started to get more violent, more sadistic, but, can you blame me? I mean, if you were here, you would start to want to kill everyone too.

I walk toward our cafeteria. Let me tell you, our cafeteria is horrible. Hard chairs, no tables, and the food, all something you won't have to use forks, spoons, or anything. So, mostly smoothies and blends, and not the kind that taste good.

I walk past the patients doors. I hear muttering, threats...and screaming? I mean, you're probably thinking, 'Yeah, its an asylum, what'd you expect?', but, I've never heard screaming, at least not in this part of the ward.

The screaming was coming from patient #302's room. I knock on the door, I know I shouldn't have, but, I did. No answer.

Pause right here folks, this stupid decision changed my life. I know, I know, what I am about to do is stupid, but, I was curios.

I hesitantly jiggled the door knob, unlocked. I opened the door.

There was red, then...nothing.
