Chapter 3

*introduction of the king – Haymond Foheir*

Her brother was back on with his normal façade, stress free and careless.

'May I have the honors to escort my beautiful sister to her crowning ceremony?' Arain asked her with a glint of tease in his eye, he was so happy at this moment to have her sister back in his life

The most important person in his life

'I would love nothing more, brother' she replied beamingly

She was happy too

Both wore their infamous smug smirks which will make anyone believe that they have known their darkest secrets, it was so invading and conquering that no one was ever at ease when Foheirs had their smirks on.

That meant two things....they were self-satisfied and were going to have a good time or they were going to destroy them.

She was looking extravagant. She wore a rose gold, off shoulder, tight full sleeved, long slim gown. She paired it with her diamond studs which were her Grandmoi's though it was creepy they were beautiful and well beauty outs creepy and wore comfortable nude pumps , her long black hair were perfectly straight and well pampered.

He wore a crisp tux paired with a black bow. His brunette hair nicely gelled. He might be the best looking man in this party. oh wait he is

She knew it would be fun to watch ladies claws their way up to him only for him to shoo them off.

He was tensed, she could sense it. Nobody knew he was here and when papa gets to know hell will break lose. But she knew he wouldn't create a scene during the party and she could manage to calm the almighty King Haymond Foheir after that.... Well at least she hoped so.

She gave his arm a quick reassuring squeeze, he looked at her and smile and then both were off.

They stepped out of the room and were walking down the brightly lit hall. Only the sound of her heels clinking and their heavy breaths were there. They stopped a few steps from the stairs where no one could see them and they looked at each other. 'Phew, we can do this' she said 'yes, when everyone expects to see only you walking down the stairs they didn't know how much of a big surprise they are in' he said clearly trying to lighten her mood, which by the way worked. 'After you, milady'. She turned, took a deep breath and put on the smile that everyone expects her too and she walked straight into a trap.
