So, you got introduced to my bro n hoes, joking, they'd fuck me up if they ever saw I referenced them like that. So I'm playing Rainbow: Six siege with Austin during spring break and he says "Jake, jackals in the window, Cavvy his ass and interrogate him." I follow orders real close and then I look at my phone and Sammy texted me, we were texted for a bit before we started this match, but right now she was freaking out, she was telling me crazy shit about the midnight man and how she summoned him and immediately I was about to piss myself, I'm easy when it comes to fear, especially when I'm not there to experience it with me, so I clenched my knives and didn't fall asleep until keaden told me Sammy went to sleep and even then I still had my knife open and clenched while I was sleeping. When I wake up I'm getting dressed and missing spring break already, the classes are all the same the only hours I like are 2nd 3rd and 4th, god forbid a child like school, but even without school during the summer I still missed it, fast forward to lunch and I see a Marine stand up, I've always wanted to be a marine and right now I want one of their rewards. That is until I find out you have to do ten pull ups right away, then I just go to the table and chew on my gum without lunch, I look over at Austin and grin devilishly, I love causing shit "Yo Austin why don't you go do it." He smiles back at me a bit humble "well I actually don't think I could do it, I've gotten a bit fatter." I laugh as hard as I can "I knew it! I knew it!" Austin was the most fit in our group, even though Damian did sports, Austin was an army brat and worked on farm over the summer and off of summer sometimes, I did work on a farm too, I'm just a bit heavy while I have a lot of muscle, my mid section is a bit chubby, I look over to Damian and do the same smile "Cmon how about you do it." And lemme tell ou right now Damian Riley is full of hormones. He looks back at me and slams his fork down and he gives me this wide eye look "Fine! Yknow what I will." In response to that, the younger marine guy that looks like he's straight out of training, comes up and says "You wanna go?" And Damians actually gonna do it, I could already tell by the look on his face, "Yep! When do I do it?". Now I'm kinda laughing cause Damian wasn't listening when the dude said that the pull up bar was right around the corner a few feet. He gets up and shakes his head and the Marine guy smiles a bit, he looks barely 21, by now Damian was on the pull up bar, spoiler he does chin ups not pull ups but the let it past, the young Marine looks at us and grins "In a stickler, you'd have to do it like this" he pulls himself up then drops himself like a rag doll, the only thing holding onto that bar was his hands cause man it would've hurt, he dropped himself so all his body weight drops on his elbows. I cringe and look at him
"That must hurt a lot," he shrugs and smiles "Haha it's a bit painful yea."
I go back to sit down and look at Damian while he's got the lanyard on his neck and look back at Austin "Why didn't you do that? I'm almost positive you could've gotten it done." He shakes his head "Nah man, don't like people watching me." As we sit there talking about shit that would make an insane man out of anyone listening to us. A few more people end up going to the pull ups. I look at keaden and grin and he notices what I'm doing and looks straight at me and says "Fuck that shit."
