"What?!...NO-nO! I will not gonna do it with him. Not HIM!" I crossed my arms and turn around.
"What do you mean? Why back out now? I thought this is one of your dreams? To sing your own song for a drama" he said.
"My OWN song, I didn't say I want to duet and do it with someone, especially with that guy!" I sarcastically responded.
"What's the problem with that? I thought he was your best friend, you guys are always together-"
"WeRee noOt" I cut him off
"Jaime listen, this is a big opportunity for you, to get noticed by the people and see your potential." He turns me around and rests both of his hands on my shoulders.
Because of that, I remember the first day I came to this company, the hardships that I went through to become a successful singer to make myself and my parents proud.
