(Keenen).. Im trying my hardest not to kill this woman. How dare she soil the womb I intended on impregnating some day. I laughed nervously and loud like a person at their whits end that sanity had finally just cracked. Layla looked at me with this dumb smug grin and all of a sudden I wasn't attracted to her at all. For the first time in a long time I actually missed my wife. Layla started to fumble around in the glove compartment as if she lost something important. I was still in shock so my mind was saying wtf is she doing but my body was frozen afraid to move because I wanted to choke the life out that woman. Her eyes lit up like a kid in a candy store so i assumed she found whatever it was. I turned my head away and stared out the window into the gloomy sky. It was going to rain. I wondered then and still wonder until this day if the lord felt my pain that unfortunate night. A calmness came over me at that moment and its if someone layed a gentle hand on my shoulder and advised me to get Layla home. I buckled my seatbelt and and turned to her preparing to say let's go home and was flabbergasted by the sight of Layla sniffing dope up her nose from a small pocket mirror. Are u fucking crazy!! Your pregnant!! Exactly Keenen I'm pregnant! Not u not Loni I am the one with child! Dont watch me watch tv asshole! I hopped out the car in the now pouring down rain walked around to the other side of the car and yanked Layla out of the passenger seat so hard she fell back laughing hysterically like a mad woman. She looked at me with dark eyes wiped her nose with an evil animated smirk got up and proceeded to walk to the road where traffic passed by. I yelled for her to come back over and over but she ignored me as she stuck out her thumb trying to hitch a ride. Yelling Layla wasn't working so I then started to yell my wifes name. The oddest thing happened... She took a few steps toward me in a trance then went back to trying to hitch a ride. I started to run toward her and just as I got halfway there an 18 wheeler pulls up and she hops in faster than my feet could move. I yelled for Loni over and over sounding like a wounded animal meeting its final demise. I ran back to my car and when I finally made it into my seat soaking and sulking the 18 wheeler had disappeared into the thick fog not able to be seen by the untrained nor trained eye. I cried harder than Ive ever cried in my life that night hitting my head against the steering wheel a million times setting my horn off repeatedly. Then to make my night even more of a nightmare blue and red lights pull behind me...
