Chapter 5

"Frankie, are you dating Gerard?" Ryan asked casually.

He sat on the bed next to me as I looked at him nervously.

"Wha- w-why would you ask that?" I asked.

"Well, there are photos of you and Gerard on magazines," Ryan replied. 

Ryan dropped a magazine on my lap and I picked it up, examining it before opening it and turning the pages. A page caught me and Ryan was right, there was a photo of Gerard and I.

"Oh no," I mumbled. "They're writing rumors about us."

"You think?" Ryan scoffed. "That's why I asked to be sure."

"Gerard and I have kissed but that was it," I said.

"Wait, you kissed Gerard Way?!" Ryan gasped. "Why didn't you tell me?"

"I don't know," I shrugged. "What if Gerard's fiancé sees this?"

"I don't know but I think you should continue hanging out with Gerard because we're going to have to leave soon," Ryan sighed.

"Okie dokey," I smiled softly.

I called Gerard to see if he wanted to hang out and he accepted. He said he was going to pick me up in fifteen minutes. 

Ryan helped me get dressed and I changed into a black crop top with a white collar that is tucked in my black skirt which has white lines across the hem of the skirt. I wore black fishnets under and black knee socks that had white lines across the top. I put on my black boots and I was ready to go.

"I'm going now," I said. 

"Okay, and here, I want you to take this," Ryan said, handing me my baby blue pacifier. "I noticed that yesterday you were sucking on your thumb."

"Thank you, Ryro," I smiled, putting the paci in my mini backpack.

I gave him a hug before leaving the room and the building. I got inside Gerard's car, smiling at him.

"Hey, Gee," I said.

"Hi, Frankie," he smiled. "So we're going to go over at my house and you're going to meet Lindsey."

"Y-You're fiancé?" I asked nervously and he nodded.

"She saw the photos and she wanted to meet you before she goes back with her band mates on tour," Gerard explained. 

"Oh," I muttered.

"It'll be a long drive so get comfy," Gerard said as he began driving.

I pulled my feet up to my chest and laid sideways on the seat, laying my head in the window as I looked out. I carefully got my pacifier out of my backpack and popped it in my mouth. 

"You're so adorable," I heard Gerard chuckle.

I looked at him, feeling my cheeks warm up. It wasn't long until I soon fell asleep after a while looking out the window. 

I woke up to the soft sound of Gerard's voice and we've already arrived to his home. Gerard helped me get out of the car and we walked up the steps to his beautiful home. Gerard didn't have time to unlock the door because his fiancé was already there to open it. We walked in as I stood behind. 

"Hey, darling," Gerard smiled, giving her a kiss.

I couldn't help but feel a bit awkward as I just stood there, feeling the tiniest of jealousy. 

"Hi, Gee," she said, hugging him before turning to me. "And you must be Frankie."

"Hi," I said shyly.
