"An invisible red thread connects those who are destined to meet, regardless of time, place or circumstances. The thread may stretch or tangle, but it will never break."

Now that we have finished the tale, I hope that somewhere, we have managed to find answers to the question I raised in the prelude  "if we had to define their love, how would we go about it? Which word or phrases would best describe their love for each other, what could possibly capture the beauty, the depth and the profoundness of the love that they have for each other?"

Is this the answer?

Is this the answer?

OR

Maybe the answer is what Aabha learnt and Shaurya realised, one should not try defining the emotion 'love', one should just simply love, completely and irrevocably.

OR

Maybe it could be found from these answers, which are truly 'out of the mouths of babes (oft times come gems)':

❣ "Love is when you go out to eat and give somebody most of your French fries without making them give you any of them" – Chrissy, 6 years

❣ "Love is when my mommy makes coffee for my daddy and she takes a sip before giving it to him, to make sure the taste is okay." – Danny, 7 years

❣ "Love is when you kiss all the time. Then when you are tired of kissing, you still want to be together and you talk more. My Mommy and Daddy are like that. They look gross when they kiss." – Emily, 8 years

❣ "Love is what is in the room with you at Christmas, if you stop opening your presents and listen." – Bobby, 7 years

❣ "Love is when you tell a guy you like his shirt, even though he wears the same one every day." – Noelle, 7 years

❣ "Love is like a little old woman and a little old man who are still friends even after they know each other so well." – Tommy, 6 years

❣ "Love is when Mommy gives Daddy the best piece of chicken." – Elaine, 5 years

❣ "When my grandmother got arthritis, she could not bend over and paint her toenails anymore. So my grandfather does it for her all the time even when his hands got arthritis too. That is love." – Rebecca, 8 years

❣ "You really should not say 'I love you' unless you mean it. But if you mean it, you should say it a lot. People forget it." – Jessica, 8 years

❣ "Love is when someone hurts you, even when you hurt terribly, you do not cry because you know it will hurt the person who has hurt you." – Mathew, 6 years

❣ "Love is when a girl uses perfume and a boy uses aftershave and they go out together, and smell one another." – Karl, 5 years

❣ "Love is when someone loves you, the way they say your name, it is different." – Billy, 4 years

❣ "Love is when you tell someone something bad about yourself and you are scared that person won't love you anymore, then that person surprises you by loving you even more." – Samantha, 7 years

❣ "Love is when Mommy sees Daddy all sweaty and dirty but still tells him that he is more handsome than Robert Redford." – Chris, 8 years

❣ "Love is to hug, to kiss, to say NO." – Patty, 8 years

I need not write anything further, right?

Aabha and Shaurya will live a very happy and long life, full of love and laughter. They will be proud parents and even prouder grandparents and maybe great grandparents too. And even when their souls leave their mortal bodies, I am sure they would still be bound together.

For their love is the stuff that stories are written about, legends are made up of and what myths talk about. Surely a few centuries down, every new bride would be wished that her husband loves her as much as Shaurya loved his wife. And every groom would be blessed that he finds a wife who would be as loving as Aabha was.

It is a love story that would span generations, it is indeed .....
