Aaron's P.o.v

"So Aaron are you ok after last weeks events?" Amber asked as we walked through the trees, somewhere near the Mcallister house.
"I'm fine, Amber. I just think this is moving so quickly, I mean... 2months ago I was just me, I had no cares in the world but now.... I don't know I have Rob and that's nice but so new and the threat from the wolves I just think I need time to think about this. I'm scared Amber, scared my life is running away with me and I have no brakes." I sigh walking around a large tree stump that has been there for a long time by the looks of it. The wild flowers filled the forest floor. "It's ok Aaron, we all love you and will take care of you-" she starts "but I shouldn't need taking care of! I shouldn't be in danger all the time." I snap looking at her for a moment before looking back at the flowers on the forest floor "I'm sorry Aaron, look I'll take you home, I'm sure you will be safe for a while without protection as the wolves will be in remission." Amber informs me "No, I'll take myself. I need the walk anyway, thanks Amber I just need some alone time" I say stopping to look at her now the wind that has picked up through the trees messing with her short brown hair with caramel highlights. "Aaron.... I don't think you should be walking through the forest on your own?". I wave my hand "I will be fine it's only a short walk to the road and then I'll walk down the road.." I say , Amber looks at me worriedly "....I promise". "Okay, please be careful!" She says "I will Amber, see ya" I wave goodbye and start walking away from the spot we stopped to talk.

I didn't realise it got dark so quickly under the cover of the trees. Where is the road?
'Crack'
My head shot up looking around me for any sign of life. Nothing. Perhaps it's just my mind playing tricks on me...... 'Snap Crack' ok what is that noise?! I begin to walk faster and faster until I'm running through the trees and my slow human pace, I know that what ever is there can catch me and in probably just making this fun for it. I stop dead in my tracks, "Whoever is there you might as well show your self! I'm not going to run anymore I'm sure it's only making this fun for you!!" I shout into the forest. Nothing.

'Thump' behind me a spin round on my heels to face a huge man, my eyes in line with his collarbone. "Vampire" I state I can only tell by the colour of his eyes, blood-red. "Well, well, well.... What is someone so fair and frail doing out in the forest at this time of night?" The huge vampire asks with a deep voice that rattled my bones, his short brown messy hair laying flat on his head, white skin glowing in the darkness. When had it gotten dark? Never mind. "I'm not afraid of you, just leave me alone I've had enough of supernatural beings for today." I say coldly "Your feisty for someone so small and human" his eyes grew dark and he took a menacing step forward, "I mean it! I'm not afraid of you! I'm protected!!" I shout in anguish trying to convince him I'm more trouble then I'm worth. He steps forwards again this time I step back. "Protected?" Is all he says, "yes, I am" I say taking more steps back but as I do I trip but I'm caught by the vampire, in fear and instinct I flick my hand up and he flys through the air hitting a large tree some one hundred yards away, in turn I fall on my ass but scramble up quickly not waiting around for him to regain his bearings.

I make it to my street with out another sign of the huge vamp, I sigh looking at my hands "Did I do that? Was it.....me?" I wonder. Finally reaching my front door I open it with out the need of a key, we really lock our door. "Mum? I'm home!" I call into the house. Nothing. Must be out picking Kate up from her new friends house I guess,walking into the kitchen my suspicions are confirmed seeing a note on the fridge stating Kate needed picking up from Emily's (like I'd know who that was). Grabbing a meal I made my way up the stairs to my room, shutting the door and locking it. I set the food on the night stand and sit on my bed, "I wonder..." Bringing my hand up with my palm facing out I look to my dresser which housed some books on top with other various nick-nacks, I swiped my and across hoping to do whatever I did earlier to no avail? I looked and concentrated on some stinky cologne my nana had given me a couple years ago and moved my hand slightly and the bottle flew of the dresser and smashing onto the wall. "Huh! Crap!" I shot up studying my hand and went to pick up the small shards of glass on the floor, "wait..." Lifting my hands in an upward motion the shards began to levitate "Holy shit, omg omg!" I slowly moved my hands in the direction of the wicker bin and dumped the shards inside. "Omg what is this? This is sorta cool! I wonder is this a power like some vampires have!?" Luckily no one was home to hear me talking, that would be embarrassing! I need to keep this to my self for a while, at,east until I have control over it....

Monday morning, "arg, school" I groaned as I got up out of bed, I got dressed quickly and ran down the stairs grabbing a couple slices of toast, spreading the butter on. "Aaron, I have something for you!" Mum called from the lounge, well that got my attention as I rounded the corner into the spacious lounge/diner "hmm mumm" I said with a mouth full of toast. "I ordered this for you a month ago and it finally came!" Mum beamed excitedly "what? What is it" I asked as the thrust an envelope into my hand, I took it and tore into it, pulling out a folded piece of paper. "My American drivers licence?" I chocked "yes! You can finally drive in this country!" Mum jumped grinning, "wow thats great mum! Thank you" I said pulling her into a hug. "Your welcome baby now look out on the driveway!" She leads me out the house where a land rover defender sat, "what? Who's is that?" I ask breathily I've always wanted this sort of car! "Yours!!" As she said that the front door slammed hard making us both jump, my powers.. "What was-" she started " thank you mum, I love it! I love you!!" I screamed! "Your welcome sweetie now get to school or you'll be late" she winked at me. I ran to my car, my car!! And jumped in staring it up with the keys the were already in it. Giving mum a wave I backed up and pulled away.

The journey to school was uneventful, but I do love my car! Parking in the student parking lot I looked around for robs car or any other I recognised... There, over in the back corner Rob leaning against his Volvo, he's looking my way, I'm sure he knows it's me. I haven't seen him since I left Amber in the woods. He looks so good today, good enough to eat, wait no Aaron. 'Hahaha you want to eat Robbie now Aaron?' "James!" I scold 'haha yep, keep it PG-13 if you wouldn't mind' "go away! Don't listen to my thoughts!" I yell under my breath 'stop thinking so load then princess' "well that's rude! Done princess me hulk or I'll get out and kick your ass!" I warn. Silence. Perfect. I jump out my truck looking over my shoulder to rob walking over my way, I just stand still next to my truck looking away. "Hey, love" Rob slides his hand around my waist and pecks me on the cheek, I blush trying to hide it. "Hi, where's Amber?" I ask "sick" he says "Sick? You don't get sick Rob?" I say matter of factly. "She doesn't want to come in today, something about visions of a powerful being come to rise, or something" he says while looking around nervously "a powerful being? Are we in danger?" I say shifting nervously "no, your safe. Don't worry" rob smiles at me "ok" I smile back.

First and second period classes are the most boring lessons I've ever been in! I have a free period next so I head to the restroom, I enter the restroom heading for a cubicle to use, after I wash my hands and just look at my self in the mirror. Suddenly I'm sucked into a place and time I don't recognise, it's like foggy and there are people/vampires everywhere. I look around for anything familiar. Nothing. Then.... "Amber?" Ambers standing through the fog staring at me, she begins to shout and dream my name, pain in her eyes and then everything goes black and I'm back in the restroom panting hard leaning against the sink. "What the hell? Amber?" I tore out of the restroom down the hallway and into the parking lot jumping into my truck the second I reach it, driving away towards the Mcallister house.
