I got my hopes up thinking I would see her again.

She didn't show up.

Jamie didn't show up for the first half of school the next day. I even skipped first period to see if she would show up late but she didn't.

As days passed by, I could feel myself becoming weak from the lack of the connection with my mate. She had been gone the same amount of time as Edward and it's started to worry me.

What if she's hurt?

No I would have felt it.

So why is she not here?

For the past week I've seen that Bella girl walk around with a glum expression which leads me to believe she probably doesn't know where Jamie is either. I even went back to the grocery store and hope that I would run into her again.

Today was Friday, first period of the day and I still have yet to see her. By this point if I don't see her by the end of the day it will only get worse. I need to see my mate. To be by her. To feel her.

The bell rang to start class and all I could do was sit in the back seats by the window. Where I first met her.

"Alright class. Please open up your book the page 367." Mr. Enders said.

About half way through class the door was pushed open reveling a very beautiful, yet very tired, looking Jamie.

Just the sight of her brought all of my energy back. It took everything in my to now go up there and hold her in my arms. But even if I did she looked like she was five seconds away from passing out. The dark circles under her eyes were very apparent. Her curly hair was knitted and looked like she just woke up from a long night.

But nevertheless...

She was still so beautiful.
