Everytime a Red Chevy passed by Jugheads trailer, he freaked out as Y/N watched. The first day of it was kind of funny to her, although she knew it shouldn't have been. He would get all freaked out and pull his mace out of his side table by his door, waiting by the window to make sure no one was coming. She knew he was just trying to protect her, but she could do without the theatrical commotion he made every single time it happened. After about a week of it, she was tired of the show, and quite frankly, tired of Jugheads face.

For a week she was stuck in the tiny box that was his trailer, she could no longer leave. If she wanted something to eat Jughead made Archie pick it up and deliver, but he made sure Archie and Y/N wouldn't speak, if she needed something from the store, he would ask a friend to pick it up for him and they would deliver it, and so on so forth. Jughead also made Y/N give up her phone, because he wanted to keep her off the grid and keep her from speaking to anyone, just until the whole burned apartment and red chevy mess blew over.

Overall she thought he was being a tad overbearing, and it got them into a few fights, but he promised he was only doing it to keep her safe, that she had a few too many run ins with near death experiences and that on her own she was going to get herself killed. She couldn't argue too much with that, she agreed she had been a bit reckless, but nonetheless she was an independent person, and this was her problem to solve, not his. She could protect herself, and she didn't need him being her body guard.

Despite Jugheads best efforts to keep the two separated though, Y/N and Archie were still in contact, planning their revenge against Jasons killer. While Jughead slept at night, Y/N would sneak into FPs closet, and using a pocket knife she found in the kitchen drawer, she'd pop open the safe it was hidden in and take her phone out, sending messages to Archie all night long. When the sun was starting to come up, or when she heard Jughead start to rustle awake, she'd delete all the messages and put the phone back in the safe, using the pocket knife to lock it back up, and she'd sneak back into bed. Sure she was defying her boyfriends trust, but his protectiveness had gotten out of control. Archie was her friend, and she had some underlying feelings for the red headed boy, that she couldn't deny. Not enough to leave Jughead for, but enough to make her miss being able to talk to him, and she wasn't going to let Jug ruin that for her.

Her sneakiness didn't come out just because she missed Archie though, but there was a bigger reason as well, one that she knew Jughead would really never go for. With every passing moment, with every situation that fueled Jugheads need to protect her, he was digging himself a bigger and bigger grave. If she had told him once, she had told him a million times, every single time he pulled a stunt in order to protect her, he was putting himself into just as much danger as she was thrown in. She didn't want Jugheads blood on her hands, but with everything he was doing, he was forcing it upon her. If she could solve this whole situation on her own, whether she ended up dead in the end or not, she could at least have the win of keeping Jughead alive. But he disagreed. He wanted to put himself in harms way instead of her, and it infuriated her. This was not his battle to fight, she was not going to let the boy go down for her.

So for the week she was trapped inside the trailer, she plotted out her revenge with Archie. Jasons killer would never suspect Archie as a co conspirator in Y/Ns plans to take him down, or at least she didn't think he would, thats why she felt safe taking the red heads help over Jughead. Sure they were best friends, but anyone would suspect the boyfriend over the best friend any day, which is another reason Y/N wanted Jughead to back down.

Her plan to take down Clifford, whom she found out from her attacker was Jasons killer, was a dangerous one to say the least, but she knew that if she didn't take any risks, nothing would get solved. She was going to use herself as bait, take advantage of the target placed on her back and try to flip the situation on its head. If she baited herself out, Clifford would of course come out and try to take her out, and thats when she'd have Archie call for authorities. Of course, she knew there was a chance she wouldn't make it out alive, and that Clifford could kill her off and escape the scene before the police showed up to the crime scene, so she was going to be wearing a wire.

She found a guy in town online that can put microphones and small cameras into jewelry, so she had Archie put in an order for a necklace to be made with the equipment. She'd put it on before she went out and she'd record everything that happened to her. All video and audio from the necklace would be saved to a hard drive on her laptop, and if she didn't make it out alive, Archie was to hand it over to the police so they could catch Clifford. She knew wearing a wire would put her life even more on the line if they found out, she would most definitely be killed, but it was worth it. She wanted the evil man who did Jason so wrong put behind bars, she wanted justice for Cheryl, she wanted justice for Riverdale. And that's just what she was going to bring.
