Chapter 5

Demi's POV

Jenny and I talked about different topics in 30 minutes, she's so easy-going, she made me laugh when we were talking about something serious, she seems happy all the time, but I can see that she's not, she seems like a little girl that needs to learn what love is

"Hey Demi, can I ask you something ?" she said embarrassed and I don't know why

"You just asked me, yes of course " I said smiling at her and she chuckled at my response

"So... Do you have a boyfriend ?" she asked

"Yes, his name is Wilmer"

Wilmer is not the best guy, He has his ups and downs like everyone, but he stayed by my side since I got into the treatment, I like him a lot, but I don't love him. he consider us as a couple however I consider Wilmer and I friends with-benefits, that's why I never said we are a couple

I looked at Jenny, she was with a sad smile, I couldn't tell what she was thinking, like I am not a magician or something like that

"And you ?" I asked

" Me have a boyfriend ?" she was laughing so hard that I thought she were going to pee in her pants

"Why are you laughing ?"

"Because I am not into boys, I am lesbian, Demi" she said pushing her tears of her face.

I was shocked, how could Jenny be lesbian ? She's not a tomboy at all, but neither a girlie girl. I don't know why but when she said that she is lesbian my expectations about her grown a lot.

" Do you have a girlfriend ?" I asked expecting her to say no

"No, I had one in Brazil, we broke up a couple months ago" she said with sadness filling her voice

"Oh sorry" I said

"Don't need apologize"

" Did you live in Brazil ?" I
asked a bit excited

"Yeah, I'll come back there in a couple months" she said happily.

" Brazil is a great country, I had visited a couple times"

"Where you traveling ?" she asked

"No, I wish I was, but I was having concerts there" I said and with that...

"Oh fuck, you're that chick Demi Lovato, you were all over the news. I am so dumb" she said laughing

Jenny's cellphone ringed, she looked at the ID and swore at it

"Demi I really need to get going" she said, at this point she took her medicines for her bruises a long time ago so she was not with pain all over her body

She gave me a quick hug and kissed my cheek. I was in shocked when she kissed my cheek a electric current passed by my body, my cheek was burning, I think my neighbor could feel the heat from my cheek. I put my right hand on where she kissed and said

"Am I dreaming ?"
