Chapter 14

Jenny's POV

I parked in front of my house and looked at my watch, it was 2 in the morning. I lit a cigarette and sat on the grass, smoking is not healthy, every day I feel like death is coming closer to me and I know that this time will come earlier than ever, with that I let my thoughts invade my mind.

Why did I kiss Demi ? Was her kissable lips or everything about her ? Is she my dream girl or some dream that I can't reach ? This questions were stuck on my mind.

It was unexpected from me kissing her, but it was a great kiss I can tell. She was different from the other girls I've met, we got along in a couple days and I consider her a friend or more.

When I'm with her I forget about everything, it's just two of us and nothing else, she's special, but she deserves something better, she deserves to be truly loved by someone how'll take care of her and never leave her.

I'll leave in 2 weeks, but I don't know if I can do this, I wish I could stay longer, but there's she pleading me to stay, looking at me with her big brown orbs showing love but at the same time she's broken inside, I think I can leave her, but if I'm wrong if she's the one.

"Hey sweet, wake up" I heard some angelic voice saying, I wish it was her. Demi.

"I'm up, Mom" I said opening my eyes

"What are you doing here ?" she asked making me get up from the comfortable grass

"I was thinking and then I fell asleep" I said with a funny look, but it was a lie, I was with my eyes closed but my mind was racing.

"Come in, breakfast is ready" she said entering in our house and I did the same

I got up and entered in the house and eat my break fast, not mention anything about yesterday, until my father asked

"Where were you
yesterday?"

"I was with a friend " I said not mention Demi's name

"A special friend you can say" Sebastian said making fun of my face

" Very funny Sebastian, so tomorrow I'll go to NYC, I've to do some stuff " I said, remembering about the awful bet I had made.

"Okay honey" Mom said, I got up and kissed her cheek saying that I'll be upstairs if she wants me

I took a shower and put some light cloths on, because it's summer, I got downstairs and pick up my phone from the coffee-table.
There was a message from Demi, I opened

Hey, J
Need to talk, meet me at 3 in front of the same Starbucks as yesterday

I sat on the table near the window, waiting for her. A few minutes after there was her looking stunning as always, she smiled and waved me.

"Hey, I'm glad you're here" she said sitting next to me

"No problem, so what do want to talk about ?" I asked curious

"Nothing, I just wanna see you" she said smiling, making me melt.

I wish everything was different, that Sebastian didn't make that stupid bet, why am I thinking about this right now? I'm so stupid. I really wish that I had a chance without making both of us heartbroken at the end of this.

Cause' maybe I'm falling for...
