Chapter 6

"Yah! Shin Eunmin! Where have you been? Your mum called me this morning asking if you were with me." Eunmin's friend, Haena, asked as she shook Eunmin by the shoulder.

"Wait wait stop, I went for a walk in the morning!" Eunmin explained.

"Ok, I don't believe you but ok." Haena said as she sighed.

"Ok but did you just get out of the same car as the Park Jihoon AND the Park Woojin???" Haena shook Eunmin once more.

"Uh, yea–no?" Eunmin doesn't know what to say.

"What does that mean?!" Haena said.

"Do you know that they are the some of the cutest guys at school?! And you were in the SAME CAR???" Haena yelled loudly, attracting many people's attention.

"Shh!!" Eunmin covered Haena's mouth before she could continue to say anything.

"Ok, uh, you know Woojin, he is actually um a relative, we just found out so we're trying to become closer so he offered to take me to school today, that's all." Eunmin lied.

"OMG!! YOU AND THE PARK–" Eunmin covered Haena's mouth quickly as she attracted many's attention once more.

"Shh! I don't need anymore attention!" Eunmin whispered in Haena's ear.

"Oops, sorry!" Haena laughed.

"Talking about me, baby cousin?" Woojin asked– clearly not one to answer though– with a smirk.

"Who are you to call me baby cousin? We're born in the same year?" Eunmin retorted.

"Honey, one month matters too." Woojin said cooly before going back to Jihoon.

"Omg, coup– oops I meant cousin goals." Haena joked.

"Alright class, get in your seats!" Mr Cha, their home classroom teacher, said.

During the last period, Woojin passed a note to Eunmin while casually walking towards the teacher, pretending he needed some help with his work.
Eunmin opened the scrunched note.
'Take your time like last time'
Eunmin stared at the note in confusion, until she realized that he meant when school ends.
Eunmin nodded to herself and made a mental note to be her normal self.

"What's that?" Haena asked as Eunmin scrunched the paper up again.

"Nothing, just a piece of scrap paper." Eunmin laughed as she placed the piece of paper next to her pencil case.
Haena shrugged and went back to copying her notes.

"Ay, wanna hang out this afternoon?" Haena asked after two seconds of being quiet.

"Ye— no, I got something up this afternoon." Eunmin rejected Haena as Woojin walked past her, shooting her a sharp look.

"Oh wow, your best friend want to spent quality time with you but yOu dONt?" Haena clutched her chest as if she was having a heart attack.

"Sorry, uh hang out next time." Eunmin apologized, knowing she probably won't be able to hang out with her anytime soon.

"Ok whatever, I have 10 assignments to finish anyways." Haena said as she started packing up.

"Aren't you going to start packing up? We have 2 minutes." Haena asked as Eunmin continued to write on her notebook.

"Uh, yeah... but I'm just gonna finish this last question." Eunmin said guiltily.

"Ok, don't miss your bus again, ok?" Haena said as she zipped up her bag after sliding in the last notebook.
Eunmin nodded while her hand reached for the piece of scrunched paper by her pencil case.

"What is it?" Haena looked at Eunmin in confusion.

"It's nothing!" Eunmin tried to keep the paper in her hand, but Haena snatched it away.

"Take your time like last time?"
