Kidnapped [Wanna One]

Chapter 4

"Where am I...?" Eunmin rubbed her eyes as she tried sitting up. Only to find her body weak and soft like jelly.

"Oh my god, she's awake!" Jaehwan gasped and busted the door open and everyone rushed in.
They had taken turns to look after her since the moment they got back and it had been four hours since they got back.

"Oh god, how are you feeling? I'm so sorry that they knocked you out!" Sungwoon apologized on the behaves of the other boys.

"I... I– where am I?!" Eunmin asked on the verge of tears.

"Oh no no no! We're not going to hurt you! At least not anymore!" Jisung rushed towards her and pulled her into a tight, warm hug while patting her back, trying to calm her down.
Eunmin broke into tears and started crying and Jisung rushed everyone out, leaving only him and the girl.

"Where am I and why am I here?" Eunmin asked after she had finally calmed down.

"Sweetie, I am so sorry about what they did to you, I've already heard from Woojin and Jihoon that he had accidentally bumped into you in the afternoon, and I'm sorry for that but when he pulled you into the van, that was where trouble started." Jisung explained.

"What do you mean?" Eunmin asked, confused about what he meant by trouble.

"Sweetie, please don't freak out about what I'm going to tell you next," Jisung started and waited for Eunmin to respond. She nodded in reply.

"We are a mafia gang but we don't do bad things, unless we have a valid reason–" Jisung was cut off harshly by Eunmin's horrified scream.

"What's going on?" Woojin opened the door immediately.

"I just told her we're a mafia gang..." Jisung said helplessly.

"You're telling me, a mafia gang just kidnapped me." Eunmin's voice was shaking as she asked.

"Well, we did it for your own good. Since the moment Woojin dragged you into our car, you were in grave danger. It's all ok now because we will take good care of you but we need you to trust us." Jisung explained softly while patting her back gently.

"You expect me, to trust a mafia gang that just kidnapped me. Who in the right mind would trust a kidnapper?" Eunmin grunted.

"Ok sweetie, we need you to understand that we are protecting you and we need you to cooperate in order to keep you safe. You know Woojinnie, don't you? And Jihoon, maybe Jinyoung and Daehwi too, probably not Guanlin... he's new there."

"Eunmin, we're in the same class! The rest and I just don't go very often, but we've seen each other at times, right?" Jihoon joined the conversation while holding a plate of chocolate cakes.

"Uh, about this, we don't know what you like so um we got chocolate cake, since no one can hate it right?" Jihoon offered the plate to her.
Eunmin hesitated. The fact to not accept food from strangers was stressed since the moment she was let out to the outside world. But her stomach growled at the sight of the cake.
Woojin bursted out laughing.

"Here, take some. It's safe, I promise." Woojin smiled as he handed a piece to her.
She accepted the piece of cake but left it in her hands, still debating whether to eat it or not.
Jihoon also took a slice and started nibbling on it.
Jisung glared at him.

"What? I'm hungry, ok?" Jihoon said in defense.
Eunmin took a tiny nibble of the cake.

"Do you... usually kidnap people? Is that one of your jobs?" Eunmin asked hesitantly.

"We usually don't kidnap people, this is our first time." Jisung explained.

"What a coincidence, this is my first time being kidnapped too." Eunmin replied sarcastically.

"You asked!" Woojin gasped, surprised by her sarcastically reply.

"Shocking!" Jihoon added.
Eunmin giggled at them two.

"I think, I'll try trusting you." Eunmin said with a small smile.
