Chapter 9

The 13 boys walked into the house in a line.

"Sit down boys." Hyunseok ordered them.

"Alright, Eunmin, I want you to meet No.Mercy. Introduce yourself, boys."

"We are No.Mercy, a unit under the SS, we usually do the physical stuff in the gang. I am the leader, Shownu." Shownu said with a stern voice.

"Wonho." A boy with blond hair grinned.

"I'm Minhyuk!" The boy with husky voice introduced himself cheerfully.

"Yoo Kihyun, nice to meet you."

"Kwangji." Kwangi said with a smile that made his eyes disappear in a cute way.

"Chae Hyungwon, glad to be your knight."

"Gunhee or Gun." The boy made a hashtag sign with his fingers and held them in front of his chest.

"Jooheon." He said with a polite nod.

"Yoosu." Yoosu had no facial expressions.

"Minkyun!" Minkyun gave off the same vibes as puppies do.

"I am what I am. Nice to meet you I am I.M." I.M boy gave a confusing rap introduction.

"Yoonho!" His face lights up as he said his name with excitement.

"Seokwon." Seokwon said with a flat voice.

"Now top 7 please stand out." Hyunseok ordered.

"This is the top 7, Monsta X" Hyunseok gestured towards Shownu, Wonho, Minhyuk, Kihyun, Hyungwon, Jooheon and I.M.

"They will be following you around to ensure your safety."

"But what about Wanna One?" Eunmin asked worriedly.

"I'm still considering, sweetie."

"Okay..." Eunmin chewed on her lips in worrisome.

"Alright, now why don't we have dinner together and have a nice chat to get to know each other?" Mrs Shin said cheerfully as she ushered everyone into the dining room.

Eunmin sits down in her usual spot, near the wall.

"Oh honey, come over here, to the middle." Mrs Shin walked to a seat in the middle and pulled the seat out for her.

"Mum.. I think I'll be just fine in my usual spot." Eunmin sighed. Why is this so pressuring.

"Oh come on sweetie! It's always good to get to know new people!" Mrs Shin said cheerfully as she walked over to Eunmin and grabbed her wrist.

"Mum, I've known enough new people for the week. Maybe the month, even the year!" Eunmin protested, referring to Wanna One.

"Honey why are you so antisocial?" Mrs Shin sighed as she let go of her daughter's wrist.

"Alright everyone, come on take a seat! We're having spaghetti today! Eunmin's favourite!" Mrs Shin ushered everyone to a seat.

Everyone talked while Eunmin played with her spaghetti. Pushing the noodles around her plate. Into faces like happy faces, sad faces and angry faces; into letters like W, A, N, N, A, O, N and E.

"Wanna One..."' hissed the boy sitting next to him.
She looked at him with a puzzled face. She couldn't remember his name, nor did she really tried to but his shirt gave it away. I.M, written in a bold font and gold colouring.

"What– whatever." She opened her mouth to question but she honestly did care much anyways. She's had enough beef like this from school anyways. Popular groups hating other popular groups, it's the same, just with gangs.

"Why do you like them so much?" I.M whispered under his breath. As if he didn't want anyone to hear this. Not as if they were going to over their laughter about something unimportant. To Eunmin at least.

"And why do you care?" Eunmin shot back. A little too loudly. Not loud enough to make the whole table stare at her but at least five turned to look.

"It's interesting. Daughter of a mafia is completely uninterested in her father's gang but in someone else's." I.M shrugged as he twirled his fork in his plate of spaghetti.

"Also I prefer spaghetti bolognese."
