The Atomiton Signal Interruption System (ASIS) directly interrupts brain waves that are given to the parts of your body and decodes them into binary code for the game, so any signals that your brain sends are instead given to your in game avatar, making a true gaming experience, otherwise known as a 'full dive'. Since every command given to your body is instead interpreted as a movement for your character, there was only two ways to log out of a game, either setting a set time for you to be forcefully logged out, or accessing the menu and manually logging out. This posed a problem for a lot of games however, such as the fantasy genre where the character might have wings, where the brain did not possess the function to use such additions. However this could simply be solved either by a quick in-game controller, or maybe a certain movement of muscles on your back. The ingenuity of these games was amazing since the VRMMORPG genre of games were released, overtime, developers learned to maximize the play space and truly indulge the players into the world. In this world of GEO I worked hard, very hard, and within the first five months of school, I was the maximum level of 95.

My eyes opened to see the blank darkness of space. I turned on my flashlight and looked around. The rubble and charred pieces of metal that drifted slowly through space told me only one thing.

"The Gaglic Treader..." I thought to myself, not opening my mouth. "...it's destroyed..." The oxygen filter I had in my mouth was a race item that allowed me to breathe in the darkness of space for as long as I wanted. There was only one thing I could do at this point. And that was to aimlessly float in space until someone came along to pick me up. I swiped my hand down and pulled up the messaging system.

"Lost in wreckage outside the Ukine system, Sekruth's moon; REV 17. Please help."

SENT

I sighed and waited. I activated my jump-pack so that I could navigate this wreckage the best I could. That was another perk of my race, one of the five, my race was specialized with engineering, making us able to breathe in space, and do maintenance on our ships, and with a high enough race skill, I could even determine what specific thing I could use to defend against a future fatal attack to my ship.

The five races each had their own home system, planet, specialty, and race perks. The five races each had a color that defined them, red, blue, yellow, green, and purple. The story behind this game, is that each race worked to take total control of the galaxy, but considering how evenly balanced the game was, it was almost impossible for any of the races to win the war. The only circumstance that a race would ever get a massive leg up on the others is that they have a significant larger amount of players and higher levels, or that they conjoined with another race. At the head of each race, there was one specific person called a watchman, who looked over their race's prosperity and forces. Each one of these watchmen was chosen by the school to lead their race, either being a member of the faculty, or a high class senior.

The five races included, from highest rating to lowest;

Groftonite; Red; home-planet of Grofton; masters of technology

Fortisian; Blue; home-planet of Proft; masters of combat

Sakeon; Purple; home-planet of Sakruth; masters of agility

Enian; Yellow; home-planet of Enek; masters of engineering

Thetive; Green; home-planet of Thetpav; masters of camouflage and disguise

This was the way things were, and I just so happened to be an Enian. Luckily, I had friends in pretty much every race, so my race was almost to the point of joining forces with the Fortisians from Proft due to trading advantages and a seemingly invincible strategy that the leaders of Proft had come up with. As for the other races; the people of Sakeon were more aloof and self-preservative above most things, so help from them was not likely, and the Thetives were a bit on the weird side, mostly filled with people smoking all kinds of different plants and didn't commit hardly anything to battles, so almost no one wanted to join forces with them.
