"Mödare to the headmaster's office. Mödare to the headmaster's office."
I lifted my head, the intercom might have repeated itself, but it was still unsure of what it said, or rather what I hear. Almost three months passed since the battle, so why now? I got up from my seat and walked away from the pavilion I was sitting at. I stepped through the glass doors at the base of the massive tower. The lady at the front desk pointed me to the elevator in the center of the tower, where I pressed the button with the highest number, and the elevator took off. Less than a minute later I was on the thirty fifth floor. The glass doors opened and I stepped into a massive circular suite. At the other end of the room was a glass bar with a black granite top. There were countless bottles filling the shelves behind that bar with labels from drinks that I had never even heard of before, some that I had. There were a group of four chairs in the center of the room surrounding a small glass coffee table. In the chair on the far side from me sat the woman with familiar blue hair. She waved to me.
"Hello Mödare, welcome to tha headmaster's office."
"Krystal? Why are you here?" I said, taking a few steps in and sitting in the chair directly across from her.
She smiled. "I'm here fer the same reason you are, Mödare. I guess now we just need to wait fer Caedes to get here."
"You mean he isn't here?" I asked, leaning forward.
Krystal shook her head and smirked. "Who knows? He's always doin this."
"What do you mean?" I asked. "How many times has he done this before?"
She laughed again. "Well, there was this one time..." she stopped as we both received a message from Caedes with two simple words.
Krystal rolled her eyes and fell back in her chair. "Oh Lord, He's got somethin planned."
"Do I log in?"
"What else? He won't come out if ya don't." She leaned back in her chair and got comfortable. "Link, Hub."
Krystal's eyes closed as she disappeared into the digital reality. The Hub? I had never heard of it, but regardless I repeated the command. "Link, Hub."
For a second my vision went dark, but then it was immediately restored, for the first instance, my vision was filled with a massive grid pattern as it scanned everything around me. Krystal was there in the seat in front of me, looking directly at me as I sat up straight.
"Welcome." I hear from the bar. A girl sat there on a stool as she leaned up against the granite. She had a glass of whiskey in her hand, so she was clearly older than me. Krystal looked over at her as she greeted me. The girl had her brown hair carelessly hanging from her head, it was brushed semi-neatly but the natural curl was all there. It wasn't very long, going down to her shoulder blades before stopping, she didn't seem to care about the way she looked very much as she wore jeans and a denim jacket with fur coming out of the collar. She had beautiful blue eyes that nearly reflected the light coming from the glass doors surrounding the room. "Want a drink? Bourbon On the rocks? Or are you a fan of burn wine? I heard that's what you Swedish types are good at making. Don't be shy! Me and Chrystal have already had a drink so help yourself!" the girl walked over and fell down into one of the chairs
"Zack, you can't just offer yer student alcohol, she's an entire two years underage!"
The girl smiled and laughed, passing me a glass over the coffee table. "Ah, c'mon honey, we're in The Hub! Those laws don't apply here."
