After reviving our TV show for a second in final season in 1981. I also got finally pregnant that year. When I was around 3 months along, I sang some songs with Frida on a Swedish TV show, including a song called "Fire & Ice". Reminds me of Iceland. On December 15th, 1981, I bore our first daughter, Frida Sophia Harket. Although neither my husband nor myself had middle names, we did give our children middle names.

Yes, we did name her after the ABBA Frida (though Frida ABBA is actually Anni-Frid), & she was godmother to our baby. Our precious little Frida was a good baby, and we really enjoyed being parents. Despite our careers, we always put God first. And God helped us be good parents. Also, if we had obligations where we had to be away, we ALWAYS took our children with us.

Again, I don't mean to be judgemental, but Morten & I learned from Bjorn & Agnetha's mistake – Bjorn was a "workaholic", as Agnetha called him, and Agnetha wanted to be with her children which is understandable. We always took it easy.

So the 80s had come and the music style had changed. ABBA split in 1982, which also happened to be the year that my sweet sister in law, Monica bore her & Magnus' first son, Bjorn. I had a couple of hits including "Butterfly" which I sang both in English and Swedish and both went to no.1 which was excellent and we (Nordic) also had moderate success with "He could be the one".

We kept it low though. We were parents now and we loved every minute of it. I remember in 1983 while our daughter was still a baby Morten set up a camera to capture moments when she was laughing. One time was when he set the camera rolling on top of the television and our Frida loved it when he'd crumple up some paper and shoot hoops into the waste basket. She was laughing so much and he was too. I couldn't help but laugh as I brought over some snacks for my husband. I then sat with Frida, watching her have fun.

On another occasion, Magnus & Monica along with Bjorn came to our house, and Morten & I held hands with Frida and Bjorn, while doing a Nordic dance while singing. It was so much fun.

In 1984, my husband & I concentrated on our music. I wrote a song called "Halo" with my band Nordic, while he, with his new band "A-ha" wrote "Take on me" (which 2 years earlier was a demo "Lesson One"), and they made a simple video, with me doing acrobatic movements, cartwheels, forward walk-overs, dancing, things like that. You'll notice some sweet exchanging glances in the video. Our songs were hits in our own countries, Sweden & Norway but it was not so in other countries.

But still, they were successful enough. In fact, we, along with Anni-Frid (from here on I'll refer to "Frida ABBA" as her real name Anni-Frid, so as to not confuse her with our daughter Frida) appeared on this controversial Norwegian show. I don't know what the controversy was, but we kind of had fun! Our Frida seemed to enjoy it too, she was always smiling!

We made another song together, that was a hit in the Nordic countries which Meiju Suvas along with a male Finnish singer covered, and after that my brother and his wife who were a duo, also had a hit with a song called "Strong Love"! It was also apparently popular with an Australian music couple enough for them to record their own English version! But the song we sang we'd sing it lots for a long time to come, and we loved doing that.
