As promised :) Hope you enjoy!

Siera felt dread settle in the pit of her stomach as she watched as if in slow motion as her wand flew from her grip and into the outstretched hand of the man before her.

Siera paled and scrambled backwards, ready to flee.

"Stupefy!" He yelled, glee in his eyes.

Seira froze, only her eyes able to move.

Inside her head thought after thought rolled. Why hadn't she gotten a professor? A friend? Why had she confronted him? why did she follow in the first place?

Then as she saw the murderous glint in his eyes she realized...he was going to kill her.

Her mind screamed in regret, in misery. What about her friends? Sirius? Lupin? What about George?

George... His face stood the brightest in her mind as she watched Moody advance on her.

"I thought you were one of the intelligent ones. Guess I was mistaken. Why didn't you run to Dumbledore, girl? Hmm. You young wizards, think you're so indestructable. So powerful. You run headfirst into things you would never be able to accomplish! Stupid!"

He took a deep breath and smiled a gruesome smile. "I need some of this...my last kill was quick. I haven't properly tortured anyone in a long while. Too long........................Crucio!"

Siera writhed on the ground as the spell elicited pain within her. Her blood was on fire! Her bones breaking, moving inside of her body. Everything was boiling, piercing, shattering. Her mind was being tore from her brain by a million sharp, poisoned spikes.

But she couldn't scream, her pain was soundless. Though her efforts to do so caused her eyes to go bloodshot, her throat to tear and rip. Her lungs and heart strained. Her mouth opened in soundless agony.

She couldn't decide which was worse, the pain, or her inability to voice it.

He stopped and she collapsed on the ground. Her body spent, her mind the same. The only thing she could think of was her friends.

What were they doing? Did they know she was gone?

What were they going to do when she died? What was George going to do?

George...she knew now. She loved him! She had to tell him, she couldn't die without him knowing she reall did love him! Letting him hear the words flow from her own lips!

"Crucio!"

It started agian, this time worse because her body was so tired, ready to give up. But something was making her mind hold on.

She thought only of George, her friends, Sirius and Lupin. She imagined them watching, trying to help. She couldn't lose the only things making her happy. She couldn't!

She pain took over for a moment, her sanity lapsing then coming back with a surge of defiance. The scream of pain as it the torture became worse was only in a corner of her mind. it wasn't heard by any. Not even her torturer.

He let the spell go once more. Siera crumped, staring up at the foggy sky. Tears leaking from the corner of her eyes.

"You're weak! You're can't even hold up against a simple cruciatus curse, can you! You've already given up!"

Siera turned her head to look up at him, her eyes trying to tell him she would never give up, she needed to stay for the people she loved. She wouldn't give up like her mother!

She would fight, even if the only way she could was by not letting the pain take her completely.

"Crucio!"

Her body arched with the strain of housing the agony. Her bones were melting in her body!

Their faces wavered, blending with the pain for a moment. Weakening. But seh still held tightly, trying not to lose.

Then, it stopped, Moody was grinning. "It sounds as if Harry has returned...We'll continue this later, correct? It seems as if you haven't broken yet."

He muttered something under his breath and Siera found herself bound tightly in chains. They burnt, and felt too tight. Her mouth was stuck shut, her eyes the same. She couldn't move, couldn't see, couldn't talk.

"I'll be back."

And then he pushed her with his foot. She felt the vines pull her in.

She struggled, screams of help sounding less than a whisper.

Soon, she became tired. Her body made her still and quiet.

She was still as a corpse.

But she wasn't dead. Not yet. She was holding their faces in her mind again, not willing to give herself up to her body's obvious lack of will.

Find me!  She pleaded desperatly inside her mind.

~~~~~
Siera had no idea how long she was stuck in the vines, her body immobilized by the burning chains. They melted into her skin. She was scared, helpless, almost hopeless.
She didn't want to give up. But she didn't want to go on with the chains melting into her skin, the torture from the man who she had thought was a professor at her school was still fresh. In her mind and body.
The newest pain only made the old worse, keeping it from healing. Reminding her. She fell in and out of conciousness, almost welcoming the cold blackness that came with the unconciousness.
~~~~~

It was night time when they found her. It took them four days to even think of the maze. Then it took them another to find her.

It was Lupin who found her hair sticking out of the veins. But Sirius pulled her out.

They layed her out on the ground in the clearing. Dumbledore and Snape went to their knees to examine her.

"This is magic is evil. Have you ever seen anything like it before?"

"I believe Crouch's signature was these chains. I remember quite well how he'd brag of them." Snape's drawling voice sounded curious. "I wonder how she survived so long?"

"Who cares right now? Get them off of her!" Sirius yelled.

"I'm afraid I've no idea how."

Snape found himself tackled to the ground, an angry Sirius latched on his neck. "Help her, now! Or I will kill you!"

"Sirius," Lupin cautioned, "calm down my friends."

Snape glared at Sirius as he loosened his hold and stood.

"Take her to St. Mungos...the doctors there should be able to help her."

So she was whisked to St. Mungos. Her entrance was flanked on one side by Lupin, the other a black shaggy dog, Molly and Arthur Weasley behind her head, and Dumbledore and Snape following closely behind.

"I'm sorry, there are no dogs allowed in the hospital...oh my what's happened here?"

"The dog stays, help her." Lupin stated in a firm, unmoving voice.

The woman voiced no objection, instead called in a whole crew of nurses and doctors.

Siera was placed in a room in the most critical part of the building.

It became apparent that the chains had melted into her skin, were embedded. The pain had caused her to fall into a coma. The doctors couldn't tell if she would live or not.

If they could remove the chains, there would be a good chance. If not, then Siera would surely die.
