Siera led them into an empty classroom. George took a seat on top of a desk while Siera stood in front of him, a few feet away.

They were silent for a while, doing everything but looking at eachother.

"Goerge let's just-"

"Siera I'm in lo-"

They let out an awkward laugh and then George waved her on.

Siera smiled and began. "George how about we just forget that kiss ever happened." She looked to him, to judge his reaction. His face was impassive so she continued. "I know you didn't mean to do it, and I don't want to lose you as a friend George. You're my best friend, I will not let our friendship be ruined by a kiss that meant nothing." To you.

"Siera it-"

"If you're going to say that you can't forget about that just try. Please. Georgy we're best friends. I miss you"

"You miss being my friend..."

"Yes! The thought of never being our friend again just about kills me."

"It does?" He looked up at her.

"Yes! We're friends, and that was just a stupid kiss." A stupid, very nice, give me tingles, and make me purr kiss.

"It was stupid?"

"Of course! I mean it was bound to happen. Your a boy, I'm a girl. We're teenagers. It meant nothing. We should just forget it and move on with our friendship." Even though I can't stop thinking about you and I never want to see you with another girl.

"So you want to forget about it, and go back to being friends?."

If that's what you want. I'd rather be just a friend then never see you again.

"Yes."

"If....if that's what you want."

"Really you'll try and forget it? It wasn't too revolting to you?"

"We are best friends after all."

Siera smiled and went in for a hug but stopped before she moved more than a step. "Well um i've got to go do homework. So i'll see you tomorow at breakfast." She started her way out of the room, amazed at how easy and short that conversation had been. And she'd been agonizing over it for hours! Psssh. But even though her problem was solved, she felt as if there was a bigger one brewing.

She felt a slight sting of tears. She liked him! She really did. But he looked as if he didn't even care. So she wouldn't care either. If it meant nothing to him, she'd say it meant nothing to her.

"Bye Siera." He said quietly.

"Bye George. And thank you, i'm glad we're friends again."

She walked out of the room then, and down the hallway. She made it past the great hall before the tears started overflowing.

She was blinded by them as she turned the corner, and slammed into somebody walking towards her.

"Sorry Si-....Siera? Are you crying?"

Siera looked up and made out the dark gray eyes of Cedric Diggory. She tried at a smile, but failed and instead nodded.

"What happened?"

"Nohing...Everything."

He looked at her and then just put his arms around her in a loose hug. She leaned into him, and even though it wasn't George holding her it was still comforting to be held while she sobbed.
