Nicole's P.O.V.

Me and Harry sat in the car as we drove down the bumpy road. The sky was dark as it could ever be. It was late summer and we were on our way to the Glander's Mansion. Our professor sent us there for an assignment in his class. He chose us both because we're his best students--according to him.

When Harry finally parked the car in the long gravel driveway, he spoke. "Are you ready?" I nod confidently.

"Are you ready?" He gives me that are-you-seriously-asking-me-that look. "What?" I ask innocently. He huffs and rolls his eyes.

"Let's get going. The sooner we're out of there, the better." I open the car door to Harry's deep red Jeep and step outside.

When I finally finished unloading the equipment, Harry relutantly came out of the car. "About time you showed up." I said a little irritated.

"Sorry. But you know how I feel about this." I do. Harry's parents forced him to take this class--he had no choice. So here he is, with me, at this abandoned house.

After me and Harry picked up the cases, we walked through the garbage nature left behind on the ground. There's no one within miles of this place and I wouldn't blame them. Who would want to be near a mansion that was known for practicing witchcraft?

A strong wind snapped me out of my thoughts. "What the h*ll?" Harry said flustered. The second he said that, the breeze was calm again. We both looked at one another then back at the enormous house towering over us. It's about 40ft high and the windows that were here are long gone. But surprisingly the door's still here, barely. I look at the garden full of weeds, I saw a picture of when there was beautiful flowers here.

Out of the corner of my eye, I catch my best friend trembling terribly. "Styles, you okay?" He takes a moment before speaking. "No, I'm not." There's something in his eyes that I can't quite catch.

"Stay in the car, I'll go alone."

"No." he says quickly. "I'm not leaving you by yourself." I know he's going to regret this later. "Okay..." I jump back from the loud crash coming from inside. "Holy-"

"sh*t." Instead of crying for my mommy, I kick the barely standing door open. The stench is the first thing to grab my attention.

"Disgusting," Harry says and pinches his nose closed. All of the sudden, a cold breeze passes by, causing me to shiver.

Next thing I know, Harry's on the ground shaking as if he's having a seizsure. I kneel down next to him and shake his shoulders. "Styles! Wake up!" I'm crying now. " Please wake up." the last part comes out quietly. This is all my fault. I should have persuaded him to stay in the Jeep. Why am I so stupid?

"I love you, Harry Styles." These are the words I wanted to tell him for so long. He knew how I felt about him but he never done anything about it. I only hope this time will be different.

"Nicole?" he says breathlessly. The room's so dark I can't see his face.

"Harry?" he suddenly pulls me into his muscular arms and squeezes me tightly. "It--I thought I lost you." he said.

"I thought the same too." If we're going to be put into a situation like this, I'll pass. "We need to leave right now." I pull his arm but he doesn't budge. "What's wrong? Don't you wanna get out of this h*llhole? Because I know I do." The chandelier suddenly flicks on.

"What the h--" I'm cut off by a strong force flinging me backwards. My back aches badly and I feel a warm liquid dripping down my forehead. A painful gasp escapes my lips as I try to get off my butt. "Harry?"

He suddenly comes rushing towards me, his eyes black and face aged. He's so pale. His features harden making me scared. I bolt straight up. When we're face to face, he speaks with such malice and evil that I cry. "You're not going anywhere, sweetheart." Now I know who pushed me. This not Harry but some demonic creature.

Harry winces when I knee him in his spot, giving me enough time to escape. I run into what seems to be the kitchen. "Get back here!!" his voice booms. His loud footsteps are dangerously getting closer.

I rush out of the kitchen, bumping into china and old newspapers. The stairs are right there. I look up and sure enough, it is.

Taking two steps at a time, I land at the top instantly. My heart's pounding so hard I think it's gonna burst out of my chest. But no time to breathe.

"Hey Nicole." Harry appears infront of me with an evil smirk. Screams come out of my mouth as I run in the opposite direction Harry stood from. I locked myself in a humongous bedroom just down the hall.

I flicked the light switch on and stood shell-shocked at what I saw. Every sign of witchcraft stood painted on the walls in red paint, I think. Yellow pages are scattered all over the wooden floor, reading curses and evil chants.

I'm about to burst out of the room when something grabs my attention. A book, thick at that, lays in the corner of a black table. I slowly make my way over to it, the sound of paper crunching under my feet. I say a silent prayer before opening it. A language foreign to me are covered on every page in the book.

Halfway through it, one page is written in Latin. It reads: Thy who care to release the evil soul out of the mortal shall be given a kiss by it's loved one. Consequences are given.

So....if I kiss Harry, he'll be free? Let's hope the loved one is me. "Nicole..." a voice sings from the other side of the door. Okay Nicole, you can do this. Oh gosh, I'm crying again.

The door is busted open with a furious Harry standing there. "You--" I cut him off by pulling his collar and crashing my lips with his. He's hesitant at first but then kisses me back. "Nicole." he mumbles against my mouth. I break the kiss and notice my vision blurring. "Harry?" I can barely see his face. "No! Don't leave me!" Too late.
