CH.01: New Kid in School

SEPTEMBER: WEEK 1/ MONDAY

CHANYEOL'S POV

It's Monday.......

Right now I am being taken to my new school. My parents made me leave my old school halfway through 10th grade. Why? You may ask. I got outcast by pretty much...... Everybody.

Yes, EVERYBODY.

I tried being friends with this one girl, and I thought FINALLY! I made a friend besides my butler.

One day we were doing homework at a small café. Next thing I know she kissed me. Don't get me wrong, she's beautiful; any guy would have been beyond happy.

But the thing is...................

I'm Gay.

I told her I was gay, and that I couldn't return those feelings to her. She apologized and asked if we can continue being friends. Of course, I said yes.

But............

The next day, she told everyone that I sexually assaulted her. I got in an enormous amount of trouble, was sent to the counselor's office, and had to talk with police officers; they ask what I did the past two weeks.

I have no social life.

I told them besides going to the café, the day before, I just stay home.

I wasn't lying. I just did homework and play video games with Seunghyun, my butler.

There was no evidence because I didn't do anything to her. The charges were dropped.

But it was too late.

Everybody hated me.

I went from just the guy nobody knew about; to being the most hated guy in the entire school.

You think I'm exaggerating?

NO!

I would get glares walking down the hallways. Students would push me on the floor, extend their foot so I would trip and land on my face, grab my backpack and throw all my belongings across the floor, and beat me up regardless if teachers or staff were around.

That was when I realized, the adults turned their back because they also believed I was guilty.

It got to the point where classmates would put hands up my shirt or touch me inappropriately saying things like:

"Let's see if you like how it feels"

"Did it make you feel like a man"

"You're an ugly monster"

"Did it make you feel powerful"

"You're a disgusting Pig"

My parents wanted to transfer me, but I didn't want to run away. That would just have them think I was guilty.

But NO

I wanted to prove that I was innocent.

I tried talking to that girl; to ask why she would lie about something so serious.

Every time I saw her across the hallway she would run away and everyone one around thought I was threatening her. I didn't want to give up though, not until my name was cleared.

The final strike for my parents was when a classmate pushed me down the stairs. I woke up in the hospital and stayed there for a month. I ended up with a dislocated shoulder and had to be in a wheelchair for another two months.
