Chapter 12: Meeting Team 7

Inagi POV

I sighed as I saw my sister fall from a very high distance. I must seem like a creep, but I'm not. Oh and I know I seem pretty calm about this situation but... I know I'll catch her if that helps.

I knew about Orochimaru's plan, knowing my idiotic sister, she's bound to get herself killed.

In a flash she was in my arms. A painful expression plastered on her face.

Her eyes snapped open. "I-Inagi?!"

My heart ached. "Rest."

Her eyes closed. A peaceful expression now on her face. I brushed her identical brown hair aside.

"Soon you'll meet father. He looks like you the most. *Sigh* I'll be gone when you wake up. I decided it would be better if I... was there for you more. But I can't be seen by ANBU yet. They'd kill me on the spot. But yes, I quit being a rouge." I smiled, I rarely do that, but seeing her makes me the happiest brother alive.

"I better take care of you and your team, for now." He sighed, jumping from branch to branch. Pin pointing the Chakra signatures of her fellow teammates.

I looked at her neck. My eyes widening ever so slightly. The Curse Mark.

No wonder she fell. And you're probably wondering, "Why the hell did you quit being a rouge when you tried killing your sister!?"

Acting is a blessing. Though, every second I stay away from her, I feel... dead.

I halted when I felt the familiar chakra signatures of her teammates. I hopped down, looking into a little shelter that was inside of a tree.

"If you fall asleep your teammates might die." I knocked on the wood. The girl with pink hair head's shot up, grabbing a nearby Kunai.

"Y-you have Hitori!" She dropped the Kunai and ran to T.

Tears brimmed at the corners of her eyes. My gaze softened. "You think of Hitori as a younger sister."

She nodded.

"Well she's feverish. We need to keep her healthy like the other two. And when she wakes up, I was never here. Got it?" My voice lowered at my last sentence.

She nodded again. I laid down Hitori. The Pink headed girl gave me a cold wash cloth to put on her forehead.

"So... who are you?"

"I'm Inagi Senju. T's older brother." Her eyes widen.

"I... never knew. I'm Sakura Haruno!"

"Hitori hates me. I wouldn't blame her. I went rouge and well.." Before I said anything else we had a Kunai to my throat.

"You're rouge?!"

"Used to be." I replied pulling the Kunai from my throat.

She hesitated but sat next to me.

"So what does Hitori do? Does she have friends?" I asked, pulling aside the hair that stuck to her forehead.

"Well everyone loves her! She's the cutest and nicest girl around. Except when she's angry. And she can get sassy, but she has a lot of friends. And she has a Boyfriend! Sasuke!"

My hand froze. I slowly turned my head towards Sakura.

"She has a boyfriend?! Who is he? Where is he?!" I yelled, she quivered.

"He's the black haired boy right there! U-um.. that's Sasuke. He takes care of Hitori, like... when Hitori doesn't want to walk she hops on Sasuke's back and he does a lot of other things!" She held her hands in front of her, her voice trailing off at the end.

I glared at the boy.

Whimpering came from T. I looked down to see her red, tear stained cheeks.

I made a shushing sound and rubbed her forehead. Her face softened and she fell back to a peaceful slumber.

"Inagi-San why are you crying?" Sakura asked. My hands traveled to my cheeks.

I felt warm tears against my smooth skin.

"Listen, Sakura." I said turning to her. "Don't ever do anything you'll regret. I regret everything I did to T."

Her eyes wide with shock she only nodded.

Time Skip

Sakura has already fallen asleep. My eyes traveled towards the bushes. A sigh escaped my lips.

"I'm not an Idiot. Get out from Hiding." I stood up, throwing a ice Kunai at the three ninja.

"Well well well, if it isn't the almighty Ice Prince. What are ya doin'? Looking after your little Hime?"

I gritted my teeth. "Leave her out of whatever Orochimaru is planning!"

"You're acting pretty tough for a 14 year old."

"Whatever you do, don't touch her! I am not aloud to interfere at this point..." I trailed off.

"Aww. I was looking forward to beating your ass one day." One of them complained.

"Well if you excuse me I have to take care of T. Leave!" I shouted. The air drastically getting colder and colder.

"Whatever. Have it your way." They jumped away. I have a feeling that isn't the last of them.

"T. What do you get yourself into?" I clutched her hand. Watching her stomach rise.

I closed my eyes. Going deeper and deeper into a Black Sea.

I smiled slightly. See you tomorrow, my Hime.
